Rogue Fast Shipping

The Rogue Shipping System allows you to track your order from the time you place it to the time it hits your door. Order today, track today.

1

One-Piece Steel Construction

To reduce the weight, bulk, and cost of the unit, we constructed the Echo Dog Sled by taking a sheet of 0.25" plate steel and forming it into a single-piece, solid base. There are only four welds on the entire sled, and those were used to create the corner sockets for the (2) included uprights. The completed sled creates a compact 36.5" x 25" footprint, and because it’s manufactured at Rogue HQ, you can count on the professional quality of the work and durability of the product.

2

Optional Skis for Floor Protection

As with our standard Rogue Dog Sled, the Echo version can be ordered with protective plastic skis, which can greatly reduce the risk of floor damage for those training in an indoor gym space.

3

No Part Left Unused

In an innovative design twist, the cut-outs found in the middle of the Echo Dog Sled are actually re-utilized as stiffeners for the underside of the sled (they can be easily installed by the user during set-up). The additional 0.25" Plate Steel bracing created by these stiffeners supports the sled against any flex caused by its one-piece design.

4

Great Companion Piece to Standard Dog Sled

Along with offering substantial functionality on its own, the Echo Dog Sled also makes a good working complement to our standard, top-tier Rogue Dog Sled 1.2. Gym owners, coaches, and trainers can provide more athletes with a quality push/pull sled at a reduced cost, while still preparing them for the use of the more advanced Dog Sled, which offers compatibility with a wide range of mountable attachments, including the Double Handle, Lawn Boy, Wheelbarrow, and more.

5

Compact Sled, Ample Capacity

Compared to many prowler and speed sled designs, the portable Echo Dog Sled has a smaller overall surface area, allowing you to get the most out of the plates that you own. The provided 17" weight post has a load capacity of 450+LB pounds in steel plates—so pile them on to your heart’s content.

6

Rogue Shipping

Rogue prides itself on fast, professional shipping, often with same-day turnaround times. Your Echo Dog Sled ships UPS ground, and is dis-assembled for a low, reasonable rate, with all hardware for set-up included. You can follow the progress of your order from our factory floor to your door using the online Rogue Shipping Tracker.

You get what you pay for
We previously bought the Rogue dog sled and they are great. The Echo sled seems smaller and less stable. Spend the extra money for the dog sled. Also good luck returning…

Great Quality
Bought 2 sleds over a month ago. They are great quality products. Be sure to get the plastic pads that go under the sled to make them easier to slide on any surface.

Great add on to a workout
I'm glad I bought the sled, although you don't need to plastic skis if you are going to use this outside.

No Compromises at a Great Price
After dealing with a lot of ridiculous Covid restrictions at my local gym, which included things like "removal of the foam rollers and sleds" to prevent people from sharing equipment, I decided I had had enough and invested in a home gym. I went all in and converted a section of my basement into my functional training area, complete with a squat rack, barbell, TRX, bumper plates, trap bar, plyo box, and other fun fitness accessories. The one thing that was missing for me, the thing that had me questioning "can I break up completely with my gym?" was the heavy sled. After a lot research I decided that the Rogue Echo Dog sled was the best value for money and it would deliver on what I needed. I am fortunate enough to have a section of basement that is 31' long, and I installed some cheap turf where I can now do a heavy sled march as part of my workout. This thing performs beautifully and is comparable to the quality sleds my gym has. It was easy to assemble (and heavy - pretty sure my UPS guy hates me) and arrived quickly. I do have the plastic skis on the base to ensure that it slides easily on my turf. I feel like this is the ultimate addition to my gym, the singular piece that makes me feel like I never have to go back to a commercial gym again.

Excellent product
I wasn’t entirely sure about this with the plastic skid plates, but they run very smooth in the asphalt alleyway behind my house. Very easy to setup and use. Great way to get some sun and fresh air and a killer workout.

Disappointing on road surface
This would a great sled for a uniform surface, but it is not so great for pushing on a road. For years I have used a Prowler and a Rogue Fat Boy sled on an asphalt road near my house. The wide spacing of the uprights on the Prowler always bothered my shoulders, so the Echo sled seemed like the answer to replace both the Prowler and the Dog Sled. Unfortunately, that is not the case. The Echo Sled moves on two runners which follow every contour in the road surface and make it all but impossible to push straight. This was also an issue with the Prowler, but the narrower foot print of the Echo provides much less control. Another problem is that the Echo has a tendency to lift off the ground at the pushing end when using a heavy weight. Since the weight sits in the center of the sled (rather that at the pushing end like the Prowler), if your angle of push is slightly upward and the road surface is a little uneven, the push end will lift and the sled will not move. Dragging the sled works better. Although, it really fishtails a lot due tho the road surface. The Fat Boy does not have this issue. I am sure the Echo works great on an even surface, but for use on the road, the Dog Sled seems like the much better choice, at least for me.
