Rogue Monster Rhino Belt Squat - Drop-In
New Patent-Pending System - For Use with Rogue Monster & Fortis Power Racks

The drop-in version of the Rogue Monster Rhino Belt Squat (patent pending) is designed exclusively for use with our Monster Series Power Racks and Fortis Racks and offers athletes the ability to get many of the lower body training benefits of squats and other workouts without putting unnecessary stress on the shoulders or lower back (See Also: Free Standing Rhino and Rhino + RM-3 Rack package)

This unit is manufactured in Columbus, Ohio, and features 3x3" arms and crossmembers, a 3x6" weight trolley tower, and a 0.25" braided cable for raising/lowering the weight trolley. When not in use, the trolley is stored on a 1" thick UHMW plastic hook, or “Rhino Horn.” A diamond-tread plate platform provides steady footing, adjustable handles offer overhand and neutral grip options, and our exclusive Rogue Multi Belt (included standard) easily accommodates most waist sizes, with adjustments from 41” to 61”. The entire Rhino unit (aside from the platform, handles and weight posts) is finished in our Medium Gloss Black powdercoat.

SET-UP: Important -The Drop-In Monster Rhino Belt Squat can be used ONLY in conjunction with an existing Monster or Fortis Power Rack. The unit ships freight, with some assembly required, and it must be bolted to the floor before use. A pair of Monster 1” Wrenches are included, however additional tools will be required to finish assembly. When complete, the trolley tower will reach a height of 78.5" from the floor, and the unit will extend approx. 21.5" off the back face of the rack uprights closest to the tower. Additional clearance (beyond 21.5") is required for adding plates.

Using the Rhino Belt Squat: Step onto the platform and strap on the Rogue Multi Belt around your hips. Upon standing up, the trolley will rise and disengage from the Rhino Horn. This allows users to then pull back on the handles and start squatting. Once the handles are pulled back, they will stay back until the user pushes the handles back towards the tower, allowing the horn to safely re-engage the trolley.

Belt Squats provide traction to the spine, help add substantial volume to the legs, and offer versatility for other types of training, from calf raises to rows, shrugs, and deadlifts—all easily performed even in a home gym with limited space.

What’s Included with the Drop-In Monster Rhino Belt Squat:

  • 1Loadable Weight Trolley

Our unique weight trolley design (patent pending) features two stainless steel, horizontal weight posts with 15.75" of loading capacity on each side. A set of (4) machined Acetal rollers, each containing (2) bearings, ensure the trolley moves smoothly up and down the rail. Laser-cut Rogue branding is featured on each side, and the tower includes a Rhino sticker on each side, as well.

  • 2Squat Platform

The platform of the Monster Rhino Belt Squat is made from 0.125" thick diamond tread plate and is finished in our Signature Texture Black powdercoat to provide advanced durability and a non-slip surface. The tread plates sit on top of a 1" x 3" steel frame that gets bolted to the user’s power rack for additional stability and rigidity. The platform dimensions are 26" deep (with cut outs for uprights so it fits in a 24" depth rack) x 48.5" wide. When the unit is installed, the top of the platform sits 7" above the ground.

  • 3Rhino Horn

This is a 1" thick UHMW plastic horn, sandwiched between steel plates, that holds the trolley when not in use. The Rhino Horn is adjustable up and down so that the "racked" or resting height of the trolley can be accommodated to specific users heights.

  • 4Adjustable Handles

The handles on the Rhino are 1.25" in diameter and can be adjusted up or down for the user’s comfort. They are very similar to the handles found on our Rogue Monster Lever Arms and allow for both overhand and neutral grip positions. The inside of the channel on the handles features UHMW plastic so as not to damage the handle / uprights when it is moved up or down.

  • 5Exclusive Squat Belt

Each Rhino unit includes a custom designed Rogue Multi Belt, made in the USA. This exclusive squat belt offers six adjustable size settings (from 41” to 61”), built-in padding for reduced hip friction, and a spacer mesh interior for breathability. It was developed from an original design brought to us by Brian Henesey of OverAchieve Sports and Speed.

  • 6Band Pegs

At the base of the trolley tower are two welded-on pegs that allow users to attached bands for resistance work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best machine I've ever used I've only had this for a couple weeks. I was very on the fence about it as I had never tried it out and had only tried the westside version ages ago and was underwhelmed. There was so much hype that I took the risk. Was very on the fence about the rhino VS a leg press for home gym. Hits quads better than squats and I'm a very quad dominant upright squatter... This hits the quads better. Zero back stress. I might have to adjust the belt as there is some minor discomfort when I go heavy. Setup was not hard. Took my time and took about two hours by myself. Thing looks very impressive in person. Alot better looking than pit shark etc. Wenning which aren't cheap but look cheap imo and like rather crude machines. Greaf for calf raises no need for a calf block just doing it on the end of the platform. Cable curls are great as well. Cable rows at various angles seem really good though I prefer bb rows t bar rows with landmine and pullups on rotating chin bar and my lat pulldown but it's clear can get a great contraction on rows...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best money you'll ever spend I bought this to get my legs back to full strength without the compressive forces of back squats. It's without question the best investment I'll likely ever make. Perfect for anybody who can withstand and needs high volume for increased strength but needs to be careful with the compressive force of axially loading the spine. On top of the quality---the freight company messed up the original shipment, and Rogue stepped up and took care of me quickly. Great product, great service. GET ONE.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Ever I bought this after hearing all the hype about belt squat machines. I was nervous due to the cost but after using it the first time I knew it was worth every penny!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile I purchased this for doing belt squats on and it does give me a good quad workout with no stress on my lower back. I have found that i'm able to do much more with it. I'm able to use it for a lot of my back training. I use if for doing rows using multiple cable attachments. I'm also able to do differen't forms of deadlifts, mainly sumo deadlifts by using a single handle attachment which keeps my body more upright. Pros: versatile, and easy to assemble. The cons of this machine for me would be the pressure the belt puts on the inner thighs. To alleviate this, I have to stand wider than i would prefer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rhino Belt Squat is AWESOME! This is one of the best pieces of equipment I have purchased for my gym, Functional Fitness. Heavy duty and well built like other equipment from Rogue! It is great for training the legs without putting stress on the lower back and shoulders. My back hasn't felt this good in a long time, but you feel it in the legs! I have senior members who have stayed clear of bar squats because of shoulder or lower back issues that are using this machine and love it! Assembly was no issue.I did get a Spudbelt. It's narrower and doesn't cut into the groin area.Highly recommend this machine!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Standard Thankful for this technology! We serve a variety of clients and this is helping people with a wide variety of limitations (knees, hips, lower back, shoulder) and we are able to help build their squats and the muscles involved without breaking them down. We have members that can come into the gym and participate fully on a squat day when in the past they couldn’t. Building this was a breeze! It’s sturdy and not going anywhere anytime soon! I’m ready to get my next one!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Read this if your cable doesn’t feel smooth! The machine itself is great. I was a little disappointed when I got it because the motion didn’t feel smooth. After a couple weeks of regret I decided look into it. The preassembled cable column didn’t have the cable routed properly! At the top pulley, the cable was routed around one of the bolts instead of straight through the middle. This made the cable rub on the bolt. A simple fix, but should have been built properly in the first place. Hopefully the sheathing on the cable is okay.
