Rogue Monster Rhino Belt Squat + Rack
Custom Configuration Pairs Our Drop-In Belt Squat System with a Monster RM-3 for Dual Use

For athletes who want the unique benefits of a Belt Squat with the option of simultaneously training with traditional barbell movements, this special Rhino Belt Squat + Rack package is configured specifically for that dual purpose. It includes our complete Drop-In Monster Rhino Belt Squat system along with a customized Monster RM-3 Power Rack, measuring 100.375" tall and 24” in depth, with 43” beams and gussets (no pull-up bar).

Please Note: The Drop-In Rhino is compatible ONLY with Rogue Monster Series Power Racks and Fortis Racks. A Freestanding Rhino is also available, which does not require a rack for set-up.

This patent pending Monster Rhino Belt Squat is manufactured in Columbus, Ohio, and features 3x3” arms and crossmembers, a 3x6” weight trolley tower, and a 0.25" braided cable for raising/lowering the weight trolley. When not in use, the trolley is stored on a 1" thick UHMW plastic hook, or “Rhino Horn.” A diamond-tread plate platform provides steady footing, adjustable handles offer overhand and neutral grip options, and our exclusive Rogue Multi Belt (included standard) easily accommodates most waist sizes, with adjustments from 41” to 61”. The entire Rhino unit (aside from the platform, handles and weight posts) is finished in our Medium Gloss Black powdercoat.

Set-Up: The Rhino and Rack ship freight, with some assembly required, and must be bolted to the floor before use. A pair of Monster 1” Wrenches are included, however additional tools will be required to finish assembly. When complete, the trolley tower will reach a height of 78.5" from the floor, and the unit will extend approx. 21.5" off the back face of the rack uprights closest to the tower. Additional clearance (beyond 21.5") is required for adding plates.

Using the Rhino Belt Squat + RM-3: Step onto the platform and strap on the Rogue Multi Belt around your hips. Upon standing up, the trolley will rise and disengage from the Rhino Horn. This allows users to then pull back on the handles and start squatting. Once the handles are pulled back, they will stay back until the user pushes the handles back towards the tower, allowing the horn to safely re-engage the trolley. With this special configuration with the RM-3, athletes can also incorporate barbell movements into their workout while using the Belt Squat at the same time.

Benefits of Belt Squats: Some athletes perform belt squats in place of traditional back squats / front squats / Zercher squats as a way of reducing spinal compression and shoulder stress, moving the lion’s share of the load onto the hips and legs. Similarly, anyone rehabbing from an upper body injury (shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, etc.) can use this method to still get in their lower body work without having to worry about supporting a barbell. For still others, training simultaneously with a barbell and belt squat offers a unique full body workout.

Belt Squats also provide traction to the spine, help add substantial volume to the legs, and offer versatility for other types of training, from calf raises to rows, shrugs, and deadlifts—all easily performed even in a home gym with limited space.

LOADABLE WEIGHT TROLLEY
1

LOADABLE WEIGHT TROLLEY

Our patented weight trolley design features two stainless steel, horizontal weight posts with 15.75" of loading capacity on each side. A set of (4) machined Acetal rollers, each containing (2) bearings, ensure the trolley moves smoothly up and down the rail. Laser-cut Rogue branding is featured on each side, and the tower includes a Rhino sticker on each side, as well.

SQUAT PLATFORM
2

SQUAT PLATFORM

The platform of the Monster Rhino Belt Squat is made from 1/8" thick diamond tread plate and is finished in our Signature Texture Black powdercoat to provide advanced durability and a non-slip surface. The tread plates sit on top of a 1" x 3" steel frame that gets bolted to the user’s power rack for additional stability and rigidity. The platform dimensions are 26" deep (with cut outs for uprights so it fits in a 24" depth rack) x 48.5" wide. When the unit is installed, the top of the platform sits 7" above the ground.

RHINO HORN
3

RHINO HORN

This is a 1" thick UHMW plastic horn, sandwiched between steel plates, that holds the trolley when not in use. The Rhino Horn is adjustable up and down so that the "racked" or resting height of the trolley can be accommodated to specific users heights.

ADJUSTABLE HANDLES
4

ADJUSTABLE HANDLES

The handles on the Rhino are 1.25" in diameter and can be adjusted up or down for the user’s comfort. They allow for both overhand and neutral grip positions. The inside of the channel on the handles features UHMW plastic so as not to damage the handle / uprights when it is moved up or down.

EXCLUSIVE SQUAT BELT

EXCLUSIVE SQUAT BELT

Each Rhino unit includes a custom designed Rogue Multi Belt, made in the USA. This exclusive squat belt offers six adjustable size settings (from 41” to 61”), built-in padding for reduced hip friction, and a spacer mesh interior for breathability.

Rhino
This is an incredible piece. Built like a tank and worth every penny. The assembly took me about 1.5 hours by myself. Everything about the Rhino lives up to it’s hype.

Versatlity and quality
Fits in perfect to my RM6. I was worried the "lost" real estate would be an issue, but now I realize it was really "wasted" real estate before because I did nothing in that space. Even if I had the space for both, I would choose the drop-in over a stand-alone. When paired with the Surplus Strength UPS, it opens up a number of machine-type exercises. Typical Rogue quality. More substantial than I imagined, and I had to open the 500 lb box outside in the driveway to get it all in my basement. But my 12 yo son and I were able to carry it all downstairs together, and I assembled it solo with no problems. Compared to other belt squats, although more expensive than some, the mechanics and build quality make it worthwhile. And it's better than most units priced higher.

Dropped this in a monster lite.
Thanks to another gentleman who has suggested it. I have dropped this in a rogue monster lite. I paired this with some other after market products to maximize what it can do. I have to say. I have some phenomenal pieces of equipment at my house that can attach to the squat rack. This is definitely my favorite. I am using Rogues Mutant Metal UDA handles as handles for this too I got the standalone just in case it didn't work.

Works well. Poor serviceability.
Cool machine that offers some good options, but the cable routing and access is very poor. The cable runs inside tubing and has parts that cannot be easily accessed. If the cable lasts until the end of time, it's great. If you have to replace it, it will require disassembly. Definitely not an ideal scenario for a busy/crowded gym.

Absolutely fantastic machine
I have low back issues and this machine offers so much versatility: 1) on my deadlift days I can continue to overload the legs without additional pressure on my lower back 2) When I tweak my low back, I can continue squatting without stressing it 3) so much versatility beyond squats: lat pull downs with the Surplus Strength UPS, tricep pushdowns, bicep curls, calf raises, etc. The only caveats I'd highlight: A) The minimum wright is 27.5lbs, which might be too much for certain unilateral exercises if you compare it with another cable machine B) Even though the belt has padding, when I load the Rhino beyond 220lbs the belt bruises my hips. It doesn't hurt too bad, but it's not great.

What does the trolley weigh?
Our gym just got one (I've been pestering them to get one for the last year). I like it better than the belt squat they had at my previous gym.
