Rogue "Ohio" Lifting Straps

The newly redesigned Rogue Ohio Lifting Straps are individually sewn in Columbus, Ohio, using a heavy-duty black cotton webbing that’s soft on the wrists but tough and secure around the bar. If you want to work on heavier lifts without worrying about your grip, this is the simple, dependable solution.

Sold in pairs, each Ohio Lifting Strap measures 20" in length and 1.5" in width, with a single closed loop at one end and a carefully sewn off edge at the other to prevent fraying.

Please Note: While the Ohio Lifting Straps are designed to sustain regular heavyweight, high intensity use, it’s still always wise to inspect both straps carefully for any wear and tear before attempting a lift.

Great, but durability is a concern
I bought a pair twice, one of which lasted for a year. I loved how they felt, so I had to buy another pair, but these ones began ripping 4 months after I bought them, which puts me in a dilemma. I only use them when I deadlift (1-2 x / wk). I love the grip, but if they are going to last 4 months now, I do not know if I can commit to buying pairs every 4 months, which sucks b/c they grip and width of the strap were perfect for me

Ideal cotton strap
Exactly what I had been looking for with the right 'feel'. No 'spring like' end feel when tightened around the bar. Wraps are a couple of inches too long, just unnecessary length. Will plan on buying more. Giving away my Harbinger cotton wraps to friends, using Rogue only from now.

Tearing after just a few weeks
I have used these for just about 4 or 5 weeks and they are already tearing through. The amount of wear in just 5 weeks is about the same as the amount of wear that I had on a cheap pair of straps after well over a year. I love Rogue products and I will do some positive reviews too. This product is just a dud.

Thank you for posting your experience and we're sorry to hear this. This does not line up with the life expectancy of the Ohio Lifting Straps and our team is reaching out now.

MY HAMSTRINGS ARE FINALLY FREE
Struggled with weak wrists/grip strength for the longest time on my deadlifts and RDL's. Tried stretching, tried grip exercises, tried powering through it, nothing. Finally broke and got a pair of these straps. While there is a break in period your first couple sessions, they work just as advertised and do a fantastic job tightening on and gripping the bar. Immediately broke my PR the first session using them. 10/10

It just works!
So as I was progressing with my deadlifts I started noticing that my hands were slipping even with the differential grip. My lifting friends recommended getting straps. Reluctantly I got them, and they work perfectly. They lock the bar in very well and I have no slippage. They are also easy to take with you because they are just strong pieces of fabric that you can fold up neatly. It does strain the skin somewhat but for the price these are unbeatable.

Honest review
It’s really good for the price. Only thing is that it hurts a lil bit when lifting really heavy because there’s no pad underneath the logo its just the strap. Overall 7.5/10 I’ve been using it for 1 month and its doing the job:)
