The Rogue TB-3 Open Trap Bar is a highly configurable specialty bar that can be configured around your training needs. OPEN DESIGN FOR UNRESTRICTED MOVEMENT
The open frame allows you to step directly into and out of the bar without working around a front crossmember. This makes the TB-3 well suited to movements where the ability to move freely around the bar is important, including lunges, split squats, step-ups, loaded carries, and explosive movements.
For trap bar deadlifts and other pulling movements, the load remains centered around the lifter while the neutral handle position provides an alternative to a straight bar. A closed-frame configuration is also available for those who prefer a traditional trap bar setup.

Design Features
PERFECTLY BALANCED AND EASY PLATE LOADING
The TB-3 open design features heavy duty feet that serve two purposes: they provide an integrated deadlift jack and act as counterbalance weight to keep the bar perfectly balanced in the open position. Simply tilt the TB-3 onto its feet to lift the sleeves off the floor, creating clearance to quickly load and unload plates without a separate jack.
Once the plates are loaded, tilt the bar back down and it's ready to use. The integrated design keeps the jack built into the TB-3, while the counterbalanced feet provide a stable, controlled loading position.

The TB-3 is available in both open and closed configurations, allowing you to choose the setup that best fits your training. The open design removes the front crossmember, providing unrestricted access and greater freedom of movement through exercises such as lunges, split squats, step-ups, carries, and explosive movements. The closed design retains the traditional trap bar configuration, with a crossmember surrounding the lifter for a familiar setup.

STANDARD OR HD STEEL CONSTRUCTION
The TB-3 frame is available in either 11-gauge Standard or 7-gauge Heavy-Duty (HD) steel tubing, giving you the option to choose the frame construction based on the demands of your training. The Standard frame is well suited to home gyms and general strength training, while the HD frame uses heavier 7-gauge tubing for high-volume facilities and demanding commercial environments.
A patent-pending joint connects the sleeve, handle bracket, and frame sections with a single bolt and threaded-insert plate, creating a secure connection while allowing the TB-3 to accommodate different frame, sleeve, and handle configurations.

The TB-3 uses the same H-5 aluminum handles found across other Rogue products, available in four diameters and multiple anodized colors. All H-5 Handles feature our signature Ohio Bar knurl pattern for a secure, reliable grip. The TB-3 uses Olympic-spec sleeves compatible with the same Olympic plates and standard barbell collars used across Rogue's barbell lineup. There is no need for specialty axle collars, making the TB-3 easy to integrate into an existing setup.
The sleeves feature a proprietary matte black finish created through a transformative process that changes the surface of the steel rather than applying a coating over it. This produces a durable finish designed to withstand repeated plate loading and unloading without the chipping associated with powder-coated surfaces, helping the sleeves maintain their appearance and oxidative resistance over time.

RACKABLE OR NON-RACKABLE

The rackable configuration is approximately 10" longer to provide the additional sleeve length needed for use with a compatible rack, allowing the TB-3 to be used from a racked starting position for movements such a high pulls, shrugs, presses, and rows.
