The exclusive, Rogue-branded RPM Session Rope 4.0 introduces even more feats of precision engineering to upgrade one of the premier jump ropes in the industry—built for both the highest levels of competition and the daily grind.
Available in several color options, the Session 4.0 is lighter in weight than past models, and comes equipped with a new dual bearing system for smoother rotations along with a reinforced stem for added strength. These features—combined with RPM’s knurled aluminum handles, adjustable 12 ft. coated cable, and patented torque-reducing Dual Axis Rotation—create a workhorse speed rope that’s comfortable to use and reliably durable even under multi-athlete, high-intensity reps.
The Session Speed Rope 4.0 is currently available from Rogue with your choice of Black, Steel Blue, or Chili Pepper Red handles each featuring Rogue branding in white. A microfiber carry bag is included for easy transport and storage, and optional bare steel replacement cables can be ordered a la carte from the options menu.

Started great
Original cable with the coating was smooth. When it came to the replacement cable, they break down quickly. It’s also easy to lose holders and set screws with the replacement cables. My hope was to purchase something where my waste would be reduced. That wasn’t the case at all. These are not worth it, and I hope a better product is in the pipeline as this is a favorite workout tool. Just want one that reduces waste and shows better durability. Very disappointed after many ropes.

Cable gets bent but then the handle broke
It worked pretty well but the handle broke where it rotates. Also the cable gets bent if stored for a duration.

Great rope, but light cable
Great rope, love the handles, but the weight of the cable is too light for me. I'm used to the SR-1 speed rope so I needed to change out the supplied cable for a heavier cable in order to 'feel' any tension it moves around my body. Overall quality is great!

A tangled mess!
I was so disappointed in this rope! It is crimped and tangles way too easily….I’m not sure if the quality has changed (friends have RPM ropes that are like butter), or if I got a lemon. Dollar store ropes are better quality compared to this! I would not recommend purchasing it based on the chance that you get one like mine :(

Handles are good but cables wear too quick
When first purchased the cable comes coated in plastic. When that wears out the only option you get is bare steel cables which wear out far too quickly. It’s a case of planned obsolescence in order to generate repeat purchases. Just make replacement cables with plastic coating. Apart from that it’s a very fast skipping cable. Nice bearings in the handles. Allen key grub screw is easily removed to replace cable. Bit pricey though.

Great Rope
My DU have dramatically improved with this rope. Was inconsistently getting 50+ now I am able to consistently get over 50 unbroken. Rope is super light and fast but still has good feel.
