SP3358 Plate Storage Pair – Monster Lite

Efficient, space saving, and money saving—Rogue’s SP3358 Plate Storage Pair bolts conveniently to your existing Monster Lite rig, adding more than 180LB of additional storage capacity on each 13” pin.

The SP3358 Plate Storage Pair comes with the necessary 5/8” hardware, allowing for easy set up in a matter of minutes. And for a training center or garage gym with limited square footage, it’s an excellent alternative to purchasing a separate stand-alone plate storage shelf.

While the SP3358 pins are intended for use with the Monster Lite Rigs & Racks only, owners of the Rogue Echo, Infinity, or standard Monster Series can order their own separate versions of these storage posts with the appropriate hardware included.

Black finish chipping
I requested a replacement after a year of use after bubbling then chipping. The response was this is normal wear and tear when it's metal on metal. None of the other storage arms have this issue. Still works but the chipping is ugly and annoying.
Chipping arm
Other arm bought at same time and holds same plates.

Follow up: Chrome finish would be much better
Photos I wasn’t able to add to my review last week. Several years of unracking and re-racking plates.

Chrome finish would be much better
I bought three pairs of these and have been using them since April 2018. Here are a few observations: Pros - solid, have had up to four 25kg plates on them; easy to install; save space Cons - the black powdercoat finish wears off, which isn't ideal for plates/bars. Why not just use the same finish that most barbell sleeves are made of?

Forever Chipping Arm
My plate storage arm continues to chip DAILY. This arm actually came with a very tiny chip and I made the mistake of not contacting Rogue about it right away as it grew over time. They don't have a lasting solution for this so it is what it is, but going forward I hope they prep it better before laying on the powder coat. They should also include covers on the bolts as the plates smack into it when pushed in.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. This is a result of continual metal on metal contact over an extended period of time. We will make sure the team reaches out to address any other concerns.

Strong pegs but poor design
I don't like how the plates go right up against the bolts. It scrapes up and makes my expensive rogue plates look bad. I don't care that much and will still use them... but plastic bolt covers should at least be included.
