Author Saxon, the “Iron Master” – Strength Magazine – April, 1925

A famous English contemporary once termed the great Arthur Saxon “the Iron Master”; which in the estimation of all who knew this giant of “Kraft Heil,” was a most appropriate way of expressing his remarkable physical powers. Master of the iron game he surely was,in its every phase. His advent brought the sport of weight lifting down to a substantial reality. His astounding feats of strength were free from the mechanical and artificial aids which have characterized the feats of all other Strong Men, no matter how great their strength was.
