Deferring Old Age – Strength Magazine – October, 1924

Physicians say that a man is as old as his arteries; and probably there is no better way in which to estimate a person’s age than to examine his blood-vessels. For old age is, in the final analysis, a matter of physical condition rather than of years. Longfellow tells us that we live in thoughts and feelings, not in figures on a dial.
