The above is the concluding paragraph of an article entitled “How I Got Health and Strength,” by Julian Hawthorne, in the September issue of Physical Culture.The above sentiments are simply grand, and we can all agree with them; but in this article the author leads one to believe that heavy exercises are detrimental to good health, and that they tend to shorten the span of one’s life.
