Editorial: Making Americans-Out of What? – Strength Magazine – February, 1924

Of course we all want a stronger nation. But one cannot build a good house out of worm-eaten, crumbling wood. When you stop to consider the material out of which we will build the future of our nation, the quality of our immigration at once becomes an extremely vital matter. And unless we take definite steps in the right direction, and_ at once, the outlook is not encouraging.
