This is a story of “the old days when”-of the old days when I was one of the most of happy-go-lucky fellows who roam over the country with no particular ambition to stay in any one place long enough to call it “home.” You know the type-just a good natured type, generally law-abiding and peaceful, but at the same time filled with the spirit of wanderlust. They are here one minute and a thousand miles away next thing one knows, and their home is where they hang their hats-they are not yet ready to marry and “settle down.”
