Kidney Disease-Prevention and Cure – Strength Magazine – October, 1925

Perhaps the most common and serious of all the varied diseases that arise to bedevil Americans is the so-called “kidney disease. Diabetes is quite as frequently referred to in this connection as is Bright’s disease although it is, in reality, a disease of the pancreas, and not a degenerative disorder of the kidney. However, there is common acceptance of the belief that the kidney function is abnormal in either case, and also the fact that the two disorders we so frequently associate would warrant us in considering both under the heading “kidney disease.”
