Mountain Climbing – Strength Magazine – January, 1927

A variety of exercises is needed; therefore, the variegated movements mountain climbing makes us perform when scaling a peak are sufficient exercise to build up every muscle in the legs. Many body culturists do not care to follow out a strenuous program of exercises for the legs. That is tedious work, besides taking up much time. I know from personal experience and from those with whom I have come in contact, that there is no better form of exercise for building the legs than mountain climbing.
