The Dinner Table – Strength Magazine – September, 1924

It took a man to show me what I didn’t know about one of the most versatile articles in my kitchen, the cold-pack steam canner. His name was Warner; and he was demonstrating aluminum cooking utensils in the kitchen of one of my neighbors. I never saw thirty women more astonished than when he asked us to sit down and watch him prepare a full meal in one utensil, over half a flame in an hour and a half. We were even more astonished when we ate the meal and agreed that it compared favorably with our best. In short, the salesman sent us home liberally supplied with food for thought.
