The Value Of Enthusiasm – Strength Magazine – February, 1920

The editor has suggested that I write about my experiences during the war, but inasmuch as I do not only quit professional work, but almost abandoned training during the main part of the war, I think there is little pertaining to my happenings during this time that would be of interest to “Strength” readers. I think nothing that I have ever done or ever will do will be of any real value to “Strengthites” only so far as they can apply the cause of my athletic success to themselves.
