Every Ohio Power Bar is precisely machined and assembled in Columbus, OH using US steel that is proven ideal for heavy powerlifting. We combine a 205,000 PSI tensile strength, low flexion shaft, IPF powerlifting knurl marks and our signature Ohio Power Bar knurling. The knurling is machined in a pattern that is deep and coarse, providing an ideal surface for heavy pulls without being sharp or abrasive. Additionally, it features a matching center knurl that adheres to your back when you need it most.

The precision-machined sleeve is then treated with our proprietary matte black process, significantly enhancing its resistance to corrosion and impact. The versatility of this polymer-ceramic composite coating has enabled new, custom athlete designs like the THOR EDITION Ohio Power Bar, which includes mountainous strongman Hafthor Bjornsson’s nickname and the blue, red & white of his native Icelandic flag on the cerakote shaft.
