Compatible exclusively with our Monster Series power racks, the Rogue Bench Prop is a quick-attach crossmember that can help ensure your weight bench is perfectly centered and secured in the same position every time you use it. The unit includes a bolted-on center channel that we will custom-configure to your specific bench + rack set-up, with a protective UHMW plastic lining to create a tight fit around the bench’s front leg.
The Rogue Bench Prop can be used with all Monster Racks and the following Rogue Benches:
*Important: The Bench Prop is NOT currently compatible with our AB-2 or AB-3 Adjustable Benches. It CAN be used with the Shorty Monster Utility Bench 2.0 and the Adjustable Bench 2.0, but if you’re also using a 4-post Monster Rack (RM-3 or RM-4), a set of Monster Mini Feet will be required (sold separately) to set up your bench in the optimum position for the bench press.
Rogue co-developed the Bench Prop with noted trainer and powerlifter Brandon Campbell Diamond, based around the traditional architectural concept of a prop— “a pole or beam used as a support or to keep something in position, typically one that is not an integral part of the thing supported.” All versions of the accessory are manufactured in the USA using 3x3” 11-gauge steel tubing with 7-gauge formed steel end plates. A set of 5/8” hardware is provided for mounting the channel to the crossmember, and a pair of Monster Detent Pins makes set-up and takedown simple and easy.
Customers can choose to add optional Monster Mini Feet and/or Bolt-On Spotter Decks to any order at an additional cost.
Personal trainer and garage gym specialist Brandon Campbell Diamond helped jumpstart this design by seeking out a better way to ensure a weight bench would always be precisely centered and securely positioned inside a rack—no guesswork or approximations required. From there, Rogue worked to create an easy-to-install steel crossmember that could work with any of our Monster Series racks. This crossmember, in turn, includes a bolt-on center channel that can be configured to fit the front leg of most of our top selling Rogue benches.
The Rogue Bench Prop is compatible ONLY with our Monster Series racks, but it’s adaptable to numerous bench + rack combinations, as we will configure your Prop’s crossmember and channel to match the requirements of your unique set-up. The accessory can be fitted for a Rogue Flat Utility Bench, Fold Up Utility Bench, Monster Utility Bench 2.0, Bolt-Together Utility Bench, or Adjustable Bench 2.0.
Please Note: If you’re using a Shorty Monster Utility Bench 2.0 or Adjustable Bench 2.0 with a 4-post Monster Rack (RM-3 or RM-4), you will need to purchase a set of Monster Mini Feet for proper set-up. The Bench Prop is NOT currently compatible with Rogue's AB-2 or AB-3 Adjustable Benches.
All versions of the Rogue Bench Prop are manufactured in Columbus, Ohio, using 3x3” 11-gauge steel tubing with 7-gauge formed steel end plates. A pair of Monster Detent Pins allows for easy lock-in attachments and take-downs, and UHMW plastic linings in the end plates and steel channel prevent any damage to the finish of your rack or bench.
Sold as a pair, Monster Mini Feet are required for any set-up that includes an Adjustable Bench 2.0 and an RM-3 or RM-4 rack. For all other set-ups, Mini Feet can still be helpful for providing extra stability, as well as convenient 1" holes for attachments such as band pegs, the Monster Landmine, and more. A set of (4) Monster 1" bolt assemblies are included. Once installed, each Mini Foot will extend approximately 13" off the mounting upright.
We are also offering optional diamond-tread Spotter Decks, available at an additional cost, that can be bolted onto the Bench Prop. Finished in a texture black powdercoat, these Spotter Decks are made from 3/16" laser-cut and formed steel, and measure 16.75" deep x 14" wide. A set of 5/8” hardware is included for connecting the decks to the Bench Prop crossmember, as well as (2) Monster 1” bolt assemblies (we recommend bolting the crossmember to the rack bottom crossmembers or Mini Feet to maximize the stability of the spotter decks).
