Rogue CTM-1 Functional Cable Tower

Well I received my ctm-1 functional tower about a month ago, but didn’t want to review until I worked out a few kinks and had an opportunity to use it a little. Suffice it to say I am 100% happy with the addition of the tower to my studio gym. First, I ordered with a 6-8 week lead time and sure enough got my shipment notification right at the 6 week mark. Shipping was uneventful, although bc it is shipped freight they will only deliver it to the sidewalk out front so I needed to be prepared to move it piece by piece indoors. This was all explained beforehand so I was ready for that. I hired assembly done and was very happy with the assembly- it took one guy about 3 1/2 hours to assemble and he did a great job. That being said I had a similar problem as others in that at a low weight the plate wouldn’t go all the way down- I contacted Rogue and they responded with a video explaining how to make a quick adjustment- I did, and it has been perfect ever since. The cables are smooth and quiet. I have since ordered several mag grips and am really loving the performance. I did not get the seat attachment and am not sure yet whether or not I’d want it. I put a bench right up to the tower for lat pulldowns etc and it works just fine without having to attach and move the optional seat. I 100% recommend this functional tower as it has added so many options to my training programs for my clients.

Phenomenal piece of equipment! Our family uses this daily and we are always finding a new movement or attachment. Smooth pulley system, excellent versatility, and as always over built. Great addition to our home gym!

After waiting weeks for our Rogue CTM-1 Cable Tower and Seat Attachment to arrive, we were extremely disappointed by the lack of quality control and the unresponsive customer support. Out of the box, the knurled knob required to secure the seat attachment to the cable tower was missing, meaning the seat attachment is currently unusable and unsafe for lat pulldowns. In addition, one of the seat attachment pieces arrived severely scratched with rough, damaged edges that will scratch and gouge the main frame if it is attached and detached regularly. When we contacted customer support, we received a single generic inquiry about the delivery box, provided our reply immediately, and have since heard nothing back. No replacement parts have been confirmed, and no tracking number has been provided. It feels like they are searching for a way to blame shipping or the customer instead of taking responsibility for warehouse QC errors, and they are not acting as if they are providing immediate solutions for customers to get their complete products. We saw influencers and YouTubers constantly rave about Rogue having top-tier customer service. But our personal experience has been the opposite. It feels like if someone messes up your order, Rogue is not going to have your back—you take your own risk. This is not cheap gear, and we spent nearly $4000 (including attachments and taxes) for a cable machine. You buy Rogue because you expect heavy-duty, top-quality, and dependable customer service. Leaving paying customers waiting with missing hardware and defective parts is unacceptable. We need the missing and replacement parts shipped out immediately. Please respond with solutions.

First the construction precision of this machine is amazing which allows it to be easily assembled. As for use it is probably the most versatile piece you can have for a home gym. I doesn't feel cheap it is solid and the cabling system really allows you to get the most out of the weight stack. This combined with dumbbells/kettlebell set means not muscle group is safe from a good work out. I couldn't be happier with my purchase

This is amazing. I saved up for it and it was easy to put together by myself. There are comments saying the cable is too loose or something like that. There are also a few other complaints but when I got it, I did not have any of those issues. This is amazing and good price for what you get. I highly recommend it.

I have previously reviewed this product at 1 stars for assembly issues. You can see my previous review for further. Turns out, I made a mistake on the second one of the two issues but with that being said, one of the issues was still upheld that delayed me assembling the machine by approximately 3-4 weeks. Now to review the actual machine: absolutely phenomenal! You can train practically every muscle group given you have the proper attachments. Extremely well built and the footprint of the machine does not take up a lot of space given you have a two car garage. This product would be a 5 star rating given the assembly issues did not occur.

Lots of reviews covering the usability and functionality - like those I agree it is awesome, solid, feels super overbuilt. This review is more to help those who like me are/were worried about ordering due to reports of quality issues and assembly problems. Ultimately I had no issues with material quality, no defects, no misaligned bolt holes, everything worked out of the box. No parts required return. Luckily I don't have the floating weight stem problem a lot of people have reported, everything is smooth and works as I hoped even with only the 20lb top plate in use. That said, assembly is still arduous. It took me many hours over an entire weekend including unpacking/cleanup. A few things caused hiccups with made this longer: - Initially the weight stem was floating ~1/2" from the top of the weight stack, so there was no way to engage the weight pin. In order to avoid this make sure to attach the bottom crossmember as high up as possible. To do this: - Step 3A - make sure to use the bottom "snowman" bolt hole when connecting to the rear upright - Step 3B - when connecting the bottom crossmember to the front upright, notice the bolt hole is an oval, pull the crossmember during/before tightening. This only moves the crossmember about ~1/8"-1/4" but it is enough to mess up the weight stem height. - Step 5 says to make sure the top crossmember endplate is flush with the top of the rear upright - this is apparently out of date information and the new design means the crossmember is about 1/4" proud (see photo). I had to put one bolt on the top bolt hole which is correct even if it seems wrong because its hard to get a wrench inside the crossmember to tighten - The standalone base hardware kit came with an extra pair of 1" flat washers, I ended up not using these but wasted a lot of time trying to make sure I wasn't missing something - Step 20 should come after Step 23, the shrouds hide most of the weight plate surface so you might not see the weight stickers, just apply the stickers after the shrouds to avoid having to peel/reapply (which I had to do...) Two minor but annoying details that I wish were fixed: - The base should really have a 1" hole on top so you can rest the lat seat on it securely - There is no way to secure the weight pin if you are using just the 20lb weight stem, the pin just dangles and clangs around and gets jammed between the shrouds or weight plates. I ended up just not attaching the pin and storing it inside a bolt hole in the upright.

i’ve dreamt of having this piece for a while now and after finally getting jt, the hype is real. this thing is so amazing. i use it almost every day and my wife loves it too
