Sold in pairs or in sets up to 320LB, this version of our LB Training Plates is finished in black with bright, color-coded lettering (full color LB Plates sold separately). The average Shore A durometer for these bumpers is 90, making them ideally suited to the demands of the serious Oly lifter. Expect a consistent dead blow with minimal bounce, even on high impact drops.

Fantastic Plates
I ordered 570 pounds of these training plates back in February. Shipping was fast, the boxing was mostly good (couple of boxes had some damage from shipping but no scratches or damage to the plates). The plates are sharp, very clean look, love the matte black finish. They match the dumbbell bumpers perfectly. The issue I've had with raised lettering on the comp plates and the echos is fixed because the lettering is inside the finish and not raised, which will keep the plates looking newer longer. I've weighed them all and they are very tight to the weight tolerance. The only issue I have is the smell. After two months, I can still smell the rubber. I've cleaned the plates with soap and warm water but the smell is still noticeable. Not enough of an issue to knock a star off, but something you may want to be aware of prior to purchasing. This is not an issue that I have come across with other Rogue bumpers. Overall, this is a quality product and I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.

Tight tolerances, but poor durability
Bought training plate 2.0s to replace my set of echo bumper plates. The training plates are a good bit thinner than the echos, so I could fit much more weight on my storage pins. They looked amazing when I first got them, and the holes have very tight tolerances which lock up solidly with my 20kg Ohio power bar. Very little play, rattle or noise when deadlifting with them.
However, very prone to scuffs and damage; I don’t do Olympic lifts and drop these things, just slow powerlift type workouts have left these things with scuffs and gouges after just a few months. I had my echos for three years and they looked newer than how my trainers do after just a few months.

Perfect plates
Bought a pair of 35s when I saw them in stock a couple months back when all I had for my homegym was a barbell. They arrived within a week and were in great condition. As I've had some time to use them, I am now even more impressed. They look absolutely fantastic, so good that I had to buy a pair of 25s when I saw those come in stock. They have a true dead bounce so that rapid cycling for olympic lifts is feasible. They are nice and thin so that I can fit as much weight on the bar as I can lift and all my plates fit on just 2 sets of the adjustable rack storage channels. And they were a great price compared to similar products (including some of Rogue's other Training or Competition plates) with included shipping. I'll definitely be looking to grab some more of these plates in the future.

Exactly What I Was Hoping For
With the quarantine in place and buying a new home, I took the opportunity to set up our dream home gym and these were the perfect additions. I was used to training with competition plate at FuBarbell, so they were a must for me. Solid build and look, definitely worth the weight and price.
