Rogue Medicine Balls

Individually constructed, stitched, and tested at our manufacturing facility in Columbus, Ohio, Rogue Medicine Balls are made for high-speed, high-intensity training—backed by a two-year warranty.

Customers can choose from 11 different weight increments—ranging from 4LB up to 30LB—all featuring the same 14" diameter and scuff-resistant vinyl shell for a consistent feel as you progress. The interior filling is substantial enough to help the ball keep its shape over repeated use, but forgiving enough for athletes to safely stop or catch the ball at high velocity.

As one of the few medicine balls on the market designed and manufactured in the USA, Rogue goes the extra mile with reinforced, double-stitched nylon threading built to handle daily indoor/outdoor abuse in a wide variety of applications.

KEY FEATURES OF ROGUE MEDICINE BALLS

Loading
1

Quality Rogue Construction

Rogue Medballs are handmade in the USA and feature a precision nylon thread seam construction with a moisture and scuff-resistant coated-vinyl shell. We started by making sure all seams are double stitched, then added a top stitch to the heavy range of 14LB to 30LB variants. The interior filling is substantial enough to help the ball keep its shape across repeated use, but also forgiving and flexible enough for athletes to safely stop or catch the ball at high velocity. All of our medicine balls include a Two-Year Warranty* from the date of purchase.

Versatility

Medicine ball training is one of the easier ways to improve your endurance, explosiveness, and core strength. Use them for anything from wall ball throws to traditional trunk twists, squats, sit-ups, presses, and more (NOT intended for slams). Rogue Medballs have been battle tested at some of the highest levels of competition, including the CrossFit Games, but they've really earned their keep in the day-to-day grind at thousands of professional, scholastic, commercial, and home gyms around the world.

*Please Note: Warranty is only voided if the product is abused by repeated impact on a rough, aggregate surface or from slamming the product on the ground from overhead.

Unbalanced
Got the 25lb ball and my main gripe is that the weight is totally unbalanced which makes it very unpredictable as it comes off the wall. I'm assuming most aren't like this and I just got a bad one unfortunately. I have a collection of Dynamax balls that are all well balanced, so I'll be sticking with that brand for med balls.

Poorly Centered Weight
Just received my 30lb and Froning Series 20lb medicine balls today. I was very disappointed to find the weight off to the side and therefore minimally cushioned at that aspect of the ball—-I don’t feel any cushioning between the vinyl and the weight on the 20lb ball. I therefore have two unbalanced medicine balls with a hard impact side… maybe cushioning is overrated and the hard hits will make me tougher?

Sewn well! Rugged.
I’ve been using these and I have a 10, 20 and 30 but I noticed the ten does not have the same stitching as the rest. The rest have double stitching on the seams but the ten does not. The edges just dont seem as reliable as a result (thus, 4 stars). The lettering holds up well and the ball holds its shape. So it’s worth it in my opinion.

Get the Dynamax
1. Material - the vinyl (or whatever) has less texture than a dynamax ball and also feels denser; the result being that it's a little harder to catch, and catching it a little wrong means slips and falling off balance. 2. Stitching - the stitching on these has an external seam; the dynamax is sown internally. This is a little hard to explain, but the result is a hard external seam on the Rogues that actually hurts a little to catch. One catch not so bad, sure, but you don't want to do Karen with this ball. Or any wod, really. 3. Laces - the weird tab under the laces is made of the same stiffer vinyl, best not let that hit you in the face, it scratches and hurts. Overall- sure it'll get the job done, but you'll have a much better experience for a few more bucks with a dynamax. I bought this for my home gym and regret it.
