Rogue Ohio Lifting Belt

The Rogue Ohio Lifting Belt is handcrafted not to compete with the world of mass-produced, sporting-goods-store weightlifting belts, but to offer a stronger, longer-lasting alternative for customers serious about strength training and investing for the long haul.

Made from 10mm thick, vegetable-tanned American leather, this 4” wide belt offers firm, consistent support; easing stress on the back and helping in both the reduction of post-workout pain and the potential long-term prevention of more serious injury.

The Ohio Belt is available in five sizes (see Fit Guide below), and includes a single-buckle design for quick, easy adjustments and a custom fit. The exact thickness of each belt may vary from slightly due to the properties of the leather. Users should also note that the belt, like any quality leather product, may require a brief “break-in” time for optimal contouring and comfort.

Key Features of the Ohio Lifting Belt

  • 1Professional Grade Support

Our Ohio Belt is manufactured with pride in Columbus, OH, using quality USA leather and the skills of our in-house craftsmen. Each belt measures 4” in width and approx. 10mm in thickness, providing firm, heavy-duty support with quick adjustments via the single prong buckle.

  • 2Vegetable Tanning

Derived from the all-natural cowboy method of tanning hides, the vegetable tanning process can take weeks to complete, versus the mere hours of modern sole tanning. The reward for this painstaking effort, however, is a firm, ultra-durable, water-resistant leather weight belt with a rich, natural brown tone. The vegetable tanning process means you'll receive a belt with a softer feel that is just as strong as the rest, with a break-in time that is nearly nonexistent.

  • 3Rogue Branding

The official ROGUE logo is stamped into the leather on the loop of the Ohio Belt, as well as across the back exterior portion.

Rogue Ohio Lifting Belt is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 299.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ohio Lifting Belt This belt is much thicker than my previous belt which is exactly what I needed to have more support in my core and help my stabilizers as I do my max weights. The quality of the leather is also amazing. Very happy with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Belt I've had this belt for a month now and I am extremely happy to have it. its a great belt overall. the only problem is that because its leather, it's gonna bruise a little until it breaks in. you kinda have to treat it like a baseball glove. once its broken in its great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Belt This is the first belt I ever bought after reviewing all the leading belts, and trying differn belts in the gym, I decided on the Rogue Ohio, and I have to say it lives up to the hype, it is very soft and comfortable, absolutely minimum break in required. Since I started using it, the peace if mind I have when going for the heavire lifts is priceless, I also have less back pain since using it. My only regret is I didnt get one sooner.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Amazing belt except one major flaw.. I have only had this belt less then a month, This belt is incredibly built and for the most part amazing quality, EXECPT the belt loop, something that if it breaks the whole thing might as well be useless It started with noticing just how lose it was, after turning it and further examination I realized it wasn’t even lined up correctly and has a small gap and the staples are not spaced correctly, I have a feeling I’ll eventually have to take this to get fixed I don’t seeing it lasting as long as the rest of the belt, I’m a massive rogue fan! And still am, maybe I should have went with the premium, but still extremely surprised when I found this, just something to think about before buying cause it’s not a cheap belt..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The belt is nice. This is the first lifting belt I've owned and the first I've worn as well. I chose the Rogue Ohio because the reviews I read said that the leather was soft, but firm and that the belt is very good for squatting, which I enjoy. The first time I squatted in it I bruised my hips pretty nicely, but that was because I wore the belt too low. Since then I've gotten to mess with the belt for about 3 weeks and used it for dead lift, bench and overhead press. my ultimate beginners opinion is that the Rogue Ohio belt is a relatively affordable and very nice lifting belt.
