Universal Storage System 2.0

Rogue’s fully redesigned Universal Storage System 2.0 lets you create a dynamic kettlebell / dumbbell / medball rack customized to your gym’s needs. Using the dropdown menu, you can select your preferred storage rack height (2-tier or 3-tier) and the type of shelf for each tier (flat tray for kettlebells or angled for dumbbells). Like the original Universal Storage System, the 14” depth of the flat tray offers the benefit of being able to stack kettlebells 2x deep for maximum space efficiency. Caster wheels and rubber feet also come standard for convenient portability + stability and floor protection.

One of the key updates with Version 2.0 of the Universal Storage System is the expansion of the overall shelf length to 70”—enough to store (16) 70LB kettlebells stacked two-deep. The unit is also beefed up in construction with 2x3" and 3x3" 11-Gauge Steel Uprights, 0.1875" Laser Cut Shelves. Each shelf features a channel welded underneath to provide additional support. The shelf brackets utilize 0.625" hardware while the shelves bolt to the brackets using 0.5" hardware.

The Universal Storage System is compatible with other Rogue storage accessories like the Infinity/Monster-Lite Single Bar Holder, which can be bolted directly to the sides of the rack base.

Great storage option
I bought this because I couldn’t find a good storage option. I went with kettlebell, dumbbell, dumbbell shelves. Plenty of space for kettlebells on top shelf. Second shelf I have 10-35 in 5lb increments. Can fit 5 pounds dumbbells in there as well. Bottom shelf I’m going by 10s. Starting at 40-80. It’s built like a tank. I built it by myself but I’d recommend 2 people. My only complaint is I wish I could add some more attachments to it. I’m able to utilize my landmine. But if the shelves were a franction of an inch smaller I could have put the rouge matador the side. Overall great storage system

Bomb proof
Love it! Typical Rogue overbuilt but I'm ok with that. Reracking the heavier dumbbells are way better with this setup and have something to hide under in case of tornado. Have all 3 dumbbells and it holds 40-100 rogue hex set. Directions straight forward and took me about an hour to set up myself.

Worth every penny!
I bought this recently after staring at it for over a year. It's worth every penny. There are some great reviews that helped with my purchase (thank you). Hoping I can tell you some new things to help you make a decision: 1. Shipping Mine system showed up 3 days after I ordered it. So no complaints on waiting time. I'm sure it had a lot to do with when I placed the order (just recently). But I have no delivery issues to report. 2. Can you put this together on your own? Yes (but it's hard). I was able to get this from my driveway into my basement and put it together without assistance, but it was work (and there was a lot of swearing). The dumbbell and kettlebell trays are challenging to put it mildly. Phone a friend if you can. If you are going at it alone, I found it best to get it on it's back and to use the ledges of the the dumbbell rack as grips to maneuver the pieces into place to put in the bolts. The hardest part is getting the bolts in by yourself. If you have an extra person that can put in the bolts while the other positions the tray, that is key. Once the bolts are in, it's smooth sailing. 3. How many dumbbells does it hold? I have 5-60 lb dumbbells (5lb increments) and 70-100 lb dumbbells (10lb increments). Those all fit perfectly. Any additional dumbbells would have to go on the floor. Use that as your guide. If you own a full set of 5-100 at 5 pound increments, some will have to go on the floor (others mentioned this, just reconfirming). 4. Kettlebell Tray vs Medball Tray I accidentally bought it with the medball tray first, then I ordered the kettlebell tray later). To be honest, I found you can stack the hex dumbbells on the medball tray and it worked just fine. It's not optimum, but they all fit and didn't move. In fact, once I figured that out, I realized I probably didn't need the kettlebell tray (since I don't have kettlebells and just wanted a flat surface for dumbbells). I actually put 45s on the medball tray as well (no issues). If you have kettlebells, you'll need the KB tray. But if you have have medballs and dumbbells, know you can put both on the medball tray and it shouldn't be an issue. Other things I found: - I use the bottom of the system as a horizontal barbell holder. Works out perfect for me. See the pictures. - I decided to stack the dumbbell on the first level and now use the kettlebell tray for extra storage (wraps, collars, etc.). - The wheels allow you to move the system with no weight on it. But once it is loaded up, it's not really going anywhere. I've moved it around, but the dumbbells come off first. But the wheels give it some extra height, which helps getting those heavier dumbbells on and off that bottom shelf.

Works well
The plate storage pair did just what I needed. I lag bolted these to a reinforced walk in my home gym to keep floor space clear. I have 45 lb plates on them. I have never been disappointed with any of my Rogue equipment.

Absolutely Heavy Duty!
I recently added this to hold my new dumbell set as well as my kettle bells and slam balls to get off the floor. Little pricey but worth the money. The rack is built like tank. Nice piece for any gym.

Universal Storage
The unit is honestly overbuilt for a home gym. With 3 shelves in place, it is very difficult to remove and place dumbbells into the shelves. I am remorseful that I purchased this and it is not worth the time and effort to sent back. Although very conceptually easy to assemble, 4 people need to be present due to the ridiculously over weight shelves. There is no need for shelves to be 100 pounds. Very difficult to assemble due to the weight of the shelves.
