The Slater Slammer's unique design is based on the legendary macebells used by ancient Hindu warriors for combat and strength training. Today, it's still a tool well suited for club and kettlebell swinging exercises as well as sledgehammer training. As an added benefit, the rounded edges of the Slammer can allow for high speed ballistic block strikes with less risk of recoil.
From 360-swings to barbarian squats, jousts, and gravediggers, there are dozens of time-tested macebell training movements you can utilize with this tool to develop your grip strength, back, shoulders, chest, and forearms. Great tool/Very Fun
This is a very good tool to accompany your clubs and Sisu Hammer. I currently have it loaded to 48 pounds and it's a lot of fun. Its most interesting feature is its general dimensions. It is longer than a club but shorter than most maces/hammers plus with the larger diameter handle it is a much different swing than my club/Sisu hammer. (With the difference in leverage I can apply more torque to the swings) I am very happy with my purchase. My only minor complaint and this is a very niche nitpick is that the finishing is quite rough on mine, this doesn't affect the usefulness of the tool it's simply a complaint due to the cost of the tool.

...in a mace or a cub is available here. Good pairing with the ballistic blocks too.
Bought a cheap, black 5” plastic pipe cap at the hardware store. The Slammer stands up in it just fine, while not in use. Takes its place next to all the other swinging implements I’ve accumulated.

Great for functional fitness
I have had the slater hammer for a little more than a month now and really enjoy it. I use it as part of a circuit that is geared toward functional fitness for my job. As others have stated, the letters are already peeling or have torn off from striking a tire, but overall this thing is built well.

Excellent Training Tool
This is a remarkable but deceptively simple multi-function training tool. Shoulder mobility,core, conditioning, forearm development applications. Some similar units, were either too long for use in my garage gym, or lacked the ability to adjust the weight. While a bit expensive, this is the best overall unit. Excellent.

Will last a life time.
Bought this product about 6 months ago, and have been using it regularly. Add steel BB's to get the desired weight. Could not be happier with my purchase. (Gives you bricklayer hand strength in about a month).
