Rogue Pro Oblique Flexor

The Rogue Pro Oblique Flexor features a unique, angled design with a 20" wide treaded-steel foot plate and a V-shaped pair of waist pads. Fastened to a fully adjustable 2x2" steel tube, the waist pads provide a secure cradle that isolates the oblique muscles (side abdominals) and conforms to the height of the user. In gyms where multiple athletes will be using the machine, a quick-release pop pin allows for easy height adjustments on the fly.

The foot plate of the Pro Oblique Flexor includes a 4" tall mounted heel catch for extra safety, and the base is equipped with holes for band work and load bearing rubber feet to protect your gym’s flooring.

Along with working the obliques, this free weight bench can also be used for back extensions, targeting the lower back muscles.

Overall good product
Love the product, and LT complaint is the pad; wish it was either flat or mounted further up from the adjustable shaft, makes it slightly uncomfortable. Outside of that love the product

Great oblique machine but the pad doesn’t hold up
After a few weeks of use the staples that hold the material to the backing are detaching. The staples used are too small or didn’t get installed correctly. Other than that great machine.

Great Roman Chair
Great for focused training of the back, obliques, quadratus, traps, and core. It has a smaller footprint than the GHB machine (45x68 versus the Pro Oblique Flexor which is 27x56) so it fit perfectly in the only remaining floor space I had in my home gym. It is double the price of other roman chairs but the construction is phenomenal and I like the flat foot rest without the middle bar like you see from other manufacturers (valor for instance). In terms of value, even though it is more expensive than a GHB machine I actually like this more because I'm not a huge fan of GHB full ROM sit-ups. The pro oblique is a actually a more versatile machine for me. Checkout knees over toes youtube channel for additional exercises that I hadn't considered using a roman chair. This machine has integrated nicely into my barbell training program and has decreased the number of back issues I have experienced.

Needs some design tweaks. Happy Overall.
Received mine about a week ago and for the most part it’s a good piece of gear. It’s very well constructed, fairly compact, and great for oblique training. However, a couple of small changes could elevate this from a good piece of gear to a great one. The hip pads need to be set a few inches higher from the support post; the reason being is that when you do back extensions the support post can “stab” you in the lower and on the way down. Lowering the height can help, but it’s always an issue. Also, adding a couple of small handles to either side of the hip pads would really help in mounting/dismounting the bench. Other than that, it’s a solid piece of gear.

STURDY
Assembly is really easy, all you have to do is unbolt it from the pallet, switch the front piece around, and secure some rubber spacers to the bottom of it. It’s wonderfully overbuilt, extremely sturdy, doesn’t wobble at all, I feel secure in it, and the padding is perfect on both ends. I owned a cheap back extension for a long time that wobbled so much it always left me wondering if I was gunna make it through the set without face diving into the concrete. Don’t have to worry about that anymore! I do however wish there were some sort of handles for getting in and out besides just using the pad. I don’t think handles are necessary but I think they’d make a nice add on. But all in all I’m very happy with this piece of equipment. Took a few months for it to arrive but it was definitely worth the wait!

Solid
Stable, well built, very heavy. Band pegs are nice to have with it. Can use for a ton of core, shoulder and back work. Pad is comfortable and no slip.
