I've had these for about 9 months now and they're high quality. The only issue is the really potent chemical/rubber smell. I was expecting it somewhat based on other reviews, but unlike what some other reviews said, my plates still smell quite strong after 9 months. They smelled unbelievably strong out of the package, like nauseating, and that has dissipated a bit, but the smell is still potent. My gym is in a finished basement with so-so ventilation, so it's not ideal. I tried what others recommended using Murphy's soap and putting them outside in the sun, but that only helped a little. I use a fan in a small window to draw in some fresh air when I work out, but I really just wish these didn't smell so strong...that chemical smell is probably not good for your health. Not as much as an issue in an outdoor or garage gym, but definitely a concern in an indoor area. If you're gonna work out outdoors, these are fine. Indoors? I might look elsewhere... If I could do it again, I'd probably order some of Rogue's higher end bumper plates that don't have the same smell.

Awesome plates —typical bombproof Rogue quality. Weight accuracy is spot on.

Who would think that bumper plates make a difference in workout, but these are such high quality and have Rogue quality. Makes working out more pleasurable. Only wish they were make in USA.

These bumper plates are everything I wanted for my basement gym. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is they are not made in the USA. I overlooked that part upon purchase.

Would definitely buy again good quality and made to last

I've had these for a number of years now, maybe 5-6. I'm writing this review for a guy like me who was on the fence about bumpers. I've primarily used iron plates my entire life and the made in USA deep dish weren't offered at my time of purchase. As a result, my daughter who power lifted throughout high school talked me into these for our garage gym. I don't perform olympic lifts, but use them primarily for the big three and on the rogue farmer walk handles. As a plate goes these do the job, but I think they are just average for the price. The bad is that the rubber edges tend to tear up pretty easily on the driveway during farmer walks and they are really fat on the bar. The fat width made them feel somewhat awkward for me when I started pulling heavy deadlifts with them. The weight was distributed farther out on the bar and just felt different. I understand why they are so wide, but I feel most guys powerlifting are better served purchasing the deep dish iron plates. The good is that I have used these a lot without damaging the center ring and they are fairly easy to load onto the bar for squats, bench, and even deadlifts. Overall, it's a decent product but I don't think i'd purchase this again. It's not as high of quality as the new made in USA iron plates offered today. If you're not doing olympic lifts, I'd go that route first and maybe mix in some bumpers as needed.

The 5KG bumpers are great and functional for my gym.
