Unlike gray cast iron, these kettlebells are crafted from ductile, or nodular cast iron, renowned for its exceptional strength and durability. While gray cast iron is strong, it is much more brittle than ductile cast iron. The nodular graphite within the ductile cast iron creates additional structural integrity with increased tensile and yield strength. This material ensures that these kettlebells are virtually indestructible, providing you with a reliable fitness tool that withstands the test of time.

Key Features of the Rogue Ductile Iron Kettlebells
Ductile Iron Construction
Among the best kettlebells we’ve produced to date, our new Ductile Iron KBs are single-cast from quality ductile iron (aka nodular cast iron). This extremely robust material contains graphite nodules that give it superior tensile strength, corrosion resistance, and sound-dampening properties, making it well suited to use in automotive components, wheels, gearboxes, machine frames, and, as no exception, kettlebells and weightlifting plates.
Seamless Execution
After casting, the Ductile Iron Kettlebell is put through a rigorous quality control process to ensure its appearance is even and seamless and its exact weight falls within a strict tolerance. There are no welds or weak points; no plastic caps, plugs, or patches. The base of each KB is machined flat (rather than leaving it as a raw casting) so it sits perfectly on the floor and does not wobble. All increments are held to the same weight tolerance of +1/-1% (based on the KG measurement).
Color-Coded Handles
Each kettlebell features color-coded bands on each side of the handle, making it easier to identify different increments at a distance or to quickly direct an athlete toward a specific KB on a rack.
Finish
The black powdercoat finish on these kettlebells is a custom formulation, allowing for a firm grip without sacrificing the ability to rotate in the athlete's hand during snatches and cleans. The slight luster also makes these kettlebells easier to clean without sacrificing any of the grippy texture or corrosion resistance that athletes rightly expect from the best kettlebells on the market.
