Machined and assembled in Columbus, Ohio, the ODB features a 190,000 PSI shaft with a comparatively thin diameter (27MM) and longer overall length (90.50" is just within most powerlifting federation standards). This combination creates a bar that’s both easier to grip and designed for increased whip/flex when pulling. For many power lifters, that greater flex means being able to pull from a higher point before the plates break off the floor, potentially increasing the amount of weight that can be lifted in the process.

Like all Rogue bushing bars, the Ohio Deadlift Bar includes sleeves with a quality snap ring constructionfar superior to the cheaply produced bolt-and-pin style sleeves of some other brands. The powerlifting knurl marks on this bar are a bit deeper / more aggressive than our Ohio Power Bar, but machined in the same pattern. There is no center knurl.

OXIDATION RATE
The resistance of a barbell to oxidation depends on the type of steel and the coating. Barbells at the lower end of the spectrum will require more care and maintenance to preserve their appearance than barbells at the upper end of the spectrum.
Please Note: Like any fine piece of machined steel, a bare steel barbell will require some upkeep. Occasionally brushing the bar down with 3-in-1 oil or WD-40 will create a beautiful patina look. This is how bars were made for decades and it really does produce an unmatched feel.
*Warranty against bending does not cover any bar which has been damaged due to negligent or faulty use, alteration, maintenance, storage or handling by the user. Negligent or faulty use includes abusive dropping of the bar (i.e., dropping the bar on a box, bench, spotter arms or pins in a power rack, excessive dropping with insufficient or damaged bumpers, or excessive dropping with iron plates, and similar usage). Any specific issues regarding a Rogue product with which a customer is not satisfied will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We have found that most problems with bars we replace are related to abusive use rather than manufacturing or materials issues.

My go to deadlift bar
I came back to using this deadlift bar after realizing that it just performs better for my style. The knurl in my opinion is perfect. It doesnt tear up my hands as bad, using hook grip and it has a nice little whip that is consistent and feels smooth.

I rarely write reviews, and usually do so after being requested. I am making an exception here because of the terrific service by Rogue. The Deadlift Bar is great, as expected. The Ohio bar is one of the industry standards. What amazed me was the shipping. I live in a small, rural New England town. I ordered the bar on a Tues and it arrived on Fri of the same week. Can't ask for better customer service than that,

Wheres the whip?
I bought this recently and used it for the first time, it had less whip and bend than a normal Walmart gym bar. Whats the deal? It feels like a squat bar, did I get scammed?

Great deadlift Barbell
I purchased this bar years ago when I first came out perfect knurling for dead lift. The bare still need some up keep but it is doable.

I pull the bar with weight on it. Lil bendy at heavy loads. I like that. Hook grippers, you got a lil more narrow of a bar to lock that thumb into. Big win. Send it.
