Rogue Ohio Deadlift Bar - Black Zinc

The Rogue Ohio Deadlift Bar is one of our finest, precision-engineered power bars to date, generating a higher amount of flex ideal for deadlifting. Machined and assembled in Columbus, Ohio, the ODB features a 190,000 PSI shaft with a comparatively thin diameter (27MM) and longer overall length (90.50" is just within most powerlifting federation standards). This combination creates a bar that’s both easier to grip and designed for increased whip/flex when pulling. For many power lifters, that greater flex means being able to pull from a higher point before the plates break off the floor, potentially increasing the amount of weight that can be lifted in the process.

Like all Rogue bushing bars, the Ohio Deadlift Bar includes sleeves with a quality snap ring construction—far superior to the cheaply produced bolt-and-pin style sleeves of some other brands. The powerlifting knurl marks on this bar are a bit deeper / more aggressive than our Ohio Power Bar, but machined in the same pattern. There is no center knurl.

Oxidation Rate
The resistance of a barbell to oxidation depends on the type of steel and the coating. Barbells at the lower end of the spectrum will require more care and maintenance to preserve their appearance than barbells at the upper end of the spectrum.

Please Note: Like any fine piece of machined steel, a bare steel barbell will require some upkeep. Occasionally brushing the bar down with 3-in-1 oil or WD-40 will create a beautiful patina look. This is how bars were made for decades and it really does produce an unmatched feel.

*Warranty against bending does not cover any bar which has been damaged due to negligent or faulty use, alteration, maintenance, storage or handling by the user. Negligent or faulty use includes abusive dropping of the bar (i.e., dropping the bar on a box, bench, spotter arms or pins in a power rack, excessive dropping with insufficient or damaged bumpers, or excessive dropping with iron plates, and similar usage). Any specific issues regarding a Rogue product with which a customer is not satisfied will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We have found that most problems with bars we replace are related to abusive use rather than manufacturing or materials issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you like deadlifting you need this bar I cannot express how much I love this bar, especially after using regular power bars for ten years. I could tell the weight was breaking the floor later even during my warmups, which feels amazing for someone my height (6’1”). I also totally underestimated how good the smaller bar diameter would feel. Besides the functionality, it’s a typically pretty Rogue bar.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent bar I bought two months ago and have use it several times. My deadlift has increased by 25 lbs and am much more excited when doing them. The bar really does do a good job as the grip level improved. Excellent purchase!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do we need another 5 star review? The Ohio Deadlift Bar is a high quality product. I have the variant with a black zinc finish. Both my wife and I deadlift with the bar weekly or more. I lift heavy and she does higher volume. It meets both of our needs. It has average knurl that won’t tear up your hands like the Texas Deadlift bar. It has a little bend and whip under 600 lbs. most folks are going to appreciate the purchase. If you have limited space, this baby is longer than a typical bar. I struggle to store it upright in a horizontal barbell station without hitting the ceiling loading and unloading it. My clearance is average (98 inches). Overall - we will give this bar another 5 star review.
