Perfect for basement gym!
We moved a few weeks ago, and my one request was a setup to exercise again (not that pushups and air squats for a year wasn't great). After some consideration, I went with the Y-1 yoke, and here's why I think it is a good fit for a lot of athletes: 1. It's short (6 ft). This means it fits in a basement or a garage with a low ceiling. If you have the space, a taller yoke would be amazing too. 2. Rack. This has the J-cups for your basic powerlifts, and can accommodate weights far greater than I'm putting up 3. Pull-ups. The top bar can be used for pull-ups and t2b if you want (granted, I'm 5'8 with shoes on, which skews my thoughts here). The thick bar limits the reps I can put out in a set...but that just points to the reality that I need to work on my grip game. 4. Plate storage. Even if you don't use this as a true yoke, the pins at the bottom give you space to store a lot of your plates, saving space and money. 5. Versatility. The crossbar can be adjusted to sue the yoke as a proper yoke. However, this can also be a sled. I've also adjusted the bar as a height for coupling movements like a sandbag with a box-get-over. Because the crossbar can be taken off, you could disassemble the whole thing to take outside for workouts if you wanted. 6. Rogue's shipping game is strong. I ordered this to be shipped to the new house within the suggested window for processing and shipping to arrive when we moved. The Yoke was at the house about a week before we moved in. I wanted a squat rack, something to do pull-ups on, and plate storage when I started shopping. The Y-1 gave me that and a few other fun bits. For the price, I honestly can't recommend it highly enough.

Great versatile piece of equipment
I love that I can train with this piece in many different ways. Squat, bench, push/pull sled, yoke, etc.. A word of advice, if you’re kinda taller like myself (6’1) then I suggest getting a Y-2 or Y-3 because your head will bump against the crossmember. If you do get the Y-1 this problem is easily fixed by just putting some thicker mats under the legs of the yoke to raise it up a few inches giving you more room.

Best Overall Garage Gym Buy
I've had this for 6 months now and I can honestly say it is the most valuable piece of equipment in my garage gym. I am 6'1" and can squat, bench, press with relative stability and then do my strongman Saturday yoke walks. One word of caution: if you are planning on squatting out of the yoke and have the height to do the Y2, it would be more stable since you do not have to put the cross member higher than the posts.

Versatile and Badass
This thing is awesome.... I obviously used it for Yoke Carries, however, I also use it as another squat rack. I've used it for a rack for overhead press, bench press, squats, loading atlas stones over, etc. You can extend the cross-member so that the bottom hole is on the 3rd hole. This will give you plenty of room to squat without hitting your head. I have plenty of room doing this and I'm 6'3'' 205 lbs. So far I've loaded the yoke up with ~500 lbs for some carries and it performed perfectly. I've also used it for 315+ lb squats without any issues. It's very stable. My 5'3'' wife also loves using it. Below is a time-lapse of the setup. It took 23 min. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kgREWMNRbng

All in one total gym
This thing is so useful .I work out in a basement with a low ceiling and had a time finding a squat rack i could do pullups on Raise the bar all the way up and go to town . I added the spotter arms and can do heavy bench work by myself safely . Its a weight storage rack , pullup bar , bench rack ,squat rack , sled, and you can use it as yoke too . This takes the place of so many items well worth the money . Its built like a sherman

It's everything I needed
You can walk with it. You can do squats on it (or under it). You can do rack pulls with it. You can muscle a stone over it (watch the paint). You can do overhead presses with it. You can attach a matador to it and do dips (counter-weight one side).
