I had the adjustables and then moved up to a universal with rubber hex. All do the job but this is the rack you want. Cradles keep everything neat and clean and you can’t beat the aesthetics of a pro rack. Don’t buy into the saving space theory like I did initially. This is a larger rack by home gym standards but it takes up very little space. Stick with dumbbell sets over adjustables. Makes super setting and drop setting a breeze. I know the price tag is higher but it’s worth it. The rack looks incredible and fits in great with Rogue branded gear.

Bought this Rack on January 25, received in delivered on February 17. They say 30-60 days shipping, yet I received my dumbbell rack along with 500 LB In calibrated plates VERY fast. Rogue shipped it out FEB 15, and the delivery service R&L delivered to my door on February 17. Very fast! They didn’t even need to ring the doorbell, they just left it right outside the garage, fully covered up. As people have said rubber dumbbells are lose on the dumbbell rack, I still took my chances. I did NOT need to remove the saddle, if anything I think my 10 to 80 LBS dumbbells all have a tight & sturdy fit on the saddles, and I have rogue rubber hex dumbbells. Highly recommended, even if you have rubber dumbbells! It may only be 10% as lose compared to PRO dumbbells, in my opinion. Not sure about 100 LB+ dumbbells though. Another thing is, I recommend you either have 3-4 people to carry it, or two people and two mini dollys. I had two mini dollys from Amazon that costed me $40 and they support 1,000 lbs each. You will have to unbolt the dumbbell rack from the pallet as well. Have a wrench ready! For what it’s priced at, best dumbbell rack out there. You will not be disappointed. If you want something commercial grade and A+, then BUY this and you won’t regret it, ever.

I purchased this three months ago as part of long overdue upgrade of my home gym. The rack ships assembled, and at ~270 pounds it is a beast to move around. It was a fairly quick and easy process to disassemble into five components and move into my basement. The collars are a perfect fit for the ubiquitous pro-style urethane dumbbells with no adjustments needed for fit. I could not be happier with the solid construction and functionality.

You can take off the saddles but makes it hard getting hands underneath.

I love that it came fully assembled, but the pallet didn't quite survive with 1 of the 4 bolted down areas was broken off during transit....like it wasn't strong enough for the rack. Holds my 5-50 and 60,70,80,90,100 urethane set from Rogue perfectly. I'm 6'4"+ and will say the lower level is nearly on the floor. My large feet hit the lower level when reaching for the top rack as well. It's solid and well made, but not as easy to use as the commercial racks I'm used to. My rack came with several cosmetic blemishes all over it, attached pics has a few of them. Contacted Rogue, was offered a small credit or sent a new one....guys it's a 400lb rack they want me to secure back onto a pallet. Not a chance, I had to pay the freight guy some cash to help me get it to the right place already. Dissappointed with the response as I'd like for my rack to be perfect. I love my bench, can't wait for my twin stack functional trainer monster rack, but disappointed with these dumbbells and rack, would not recommend it and wish I could do it over. Live and learn.

I like it. Just bummed that my rack arrived scuffed on the top corner. The powder coating is rubbed off, probably from shipping. I bought the round urethane dumbells to go with. I've read that others dont like the rack with hex dumbbells though, so maybe not a good choice if that's what you got or plan to use for. The rack feels solid and looks great... other than this scuffed corner.
