Echo Vest Plates are the economy version of our premium USA Cast Weight Vest Plates, offering a similarly ergonomic, military-inspired design in three weight increments: 5LB, 10LB, 20LB.
The double-curved shape of these plates allows much greater comfort and freedom of movement for the user compared to traditional flat metal vest plates. The design was inspired by examining the armor utilized in modern bulletproof vests—the same type trusted by police and military personnel for years.*
Each increment of Echo Vest Plate measures 11.3" in length x 9.3" in width, and includes a quality black E-coat finish, Rogue branding, and convenient carry handles on both ends. They are compatible with the 5.11 TacTec Plate Carrier and other similar weight vests on the market (be sure to check your vest’s measurements before purchasing). When added to a standard 2.5LB vest, the three available plate size pairs create total weights of 12.5 LB, 22.5 LB, and 42.5 LB, respectively.
*IMPORTANT: Echo Vest Plates are meant to be used strictly as a fitness accessory and should NEVER be used as body armor.

Ergonomic Design
While available at a budget-friendly price, Echo Vest Plates still utilize the same double-curved shape as our premium USA Cast Weight Vest Plates, offering a vest wearer greatly improved comfort vs. traditional flat plates. We looked at the armor / ballistic plates used in today’s advanced bulletproof vests as a key reference point. This custom ergonomic design helps keep the plate tight to the user’s chest, enabling clearer breathing and easier movement as you train.
Three Weight Options
Echo Vest Plates are compatible with the 5.11 TacTec Plate Carrier and other similar weight vests on the market (be sure to check your vest’s measurements before purchasing). They are available in three weight options, each measuring 11.3" in length x 9.3" in width. The 5LB plate pair creates a total vest weight of 12.5 LB (when added to a 2.5LB vest); the 10LB pair adds up to 22.5 LB total; and the 20LB pair tops out at 42.5 LB.
E-Coat Finish
The black electrocoat, or E-Coat finish, on these plates is an electrically-applied paint coating noted for its excellent corrosion resistance, cost efficiency, and green benefits. It has been widely adopted by leading manufacturers for the finishing of auto parts, metal stampings, fasteners, lawn/garden & agricultural equipment, military equipment, and much more. E-Coat finishes stand up to water, sunlight, and household chemicals, and they are compliant with the environmental safety standards of the RoHS, OSHA and EPA.
