Love this thing!
I was nervous about purchasing because I already have the Globe and was worried about overlap between equipment. They are VERY DIFFERENT! The Globe is more open hand strength with a limited range of motion. The Dog Bone is more finger/hand strength with a larger range of motion. The Globe requires much more chest/shoulder strength while the Dog Bone lets me focus more on my back strength. I plan to alternate between these two pieces of equipment to get the best of both worlds. Pro tip… buy liquid chalk. It’s a little too slippery without chalk.

GREAT EXERCISER
I love this Dog Bone. It has been a great addition and I use it everyday. I added some grip tape and I use rope climbing gloves(I guess that's cheating). Because of this, I can now do 7 pullups and expect to do more. It has increased my overall strength(grip, shoulders, back) . This is one of my best purchases and I highly recommend it.

A LOT HARDER THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE!
This Dog Bone is not for everyone. It is very challenging. On day 1 and my first try, I could not do one. Kept at it and did 2 and then 3. It's going to be awhile before I can do 4. It's puts a lot of strain on your fingers, forearms, shoulders and lats. I am looking forward to day 2. It does rotate when using it, but I adjusted to it quickly. It's the only criticism I have. It's very well made and it was shipped in two cartons, arriving in perfect condition. If you like an extreme challenge, this Dog Bone is for you.

not just for pull-ups
This thing is great for pull-ups, but I use it for Tricep cable pulldowns as well. Works the forearms and triceps. Cable curls too. A real good piece of equipment.

Make your grip awesome!
This is more of a grip/ hand/ fingers trainer, because that will give out first. I use this in a pull-up/chin up routine and this will give you Popeye forearm strength. Great for training grip or Ninja course. Great implement! Very well make.

Unusual piece of equipment
I thought I had very good grip strength until I tried the dog bone. I was shocked at how weak my wide grip was. It’s taking a lot of work with “the bone” to get it good. !!

Very Effective
Bought this on a whim, and now it's the centerpiece of my pull-up workouts. Very good for grip strength and forearms. After a few weeks with this I was able to close a Captains of Crush gripper I hadn't closed in years (and without training CoC, specifically). Would definitely recommend. Get ready for some strange looks, but well worth it.

harder than I thought
but that's a good thing. I find I use the center more than the ends but working up to it. It's bigger in real life than it looks in the photo, you can get your hands over the center section.
