Monster Single Bar Holder

Monster Vertical Mount Single Bar Holder
Monster Horizontal Mount Single Bar Holder

**WARNING: The Rogue Single Bar Holder should NEVER be mounted below a pull-up bar, and ALWAYS on the exterior of a Rack/Rig/Squat Stand. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in severe injury.

Monster Single Bar Holder

The Monster version of our space-efficient Single Bar Holder includes 1-inch bolts and fasteners, with mounting plate holes 6” on center. Attached to any Monster Series rig, rack, or squat stand, the Bar Holder's 7-inch steel storage tube will work with most standard Olympic barbells, stabilizing the bar upright and protecting its knurling from unnecessary wear and tear.

The mounting plate on this barbell storage system is uniquely designed to give you the option of a vertical mount (recommended on racks and rigs) or horizontal mount (for squat stands). In either instance, the Single Bar Holder should be mounted only on the exterior of the unit, and never directly under the area reserved for pull-up bar use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I was looking for I have two of them attached to my vertical plate tree, and just as expected from rogue, its sturdy and its a hard to beat type of quality. People complain about them scratching up the sleeve. I have the cerakote Ohio bar and Bella bar, it does scratch it but its not a huge deal for me. They're scratched up anyways from plates coming on and off of them. 10/10

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Vertical Holder Needs Longer Mounting Bracket It does what it's supposed to do. Only complaint with the vertically mounted bar holder is that I'm unable to mount it to the lowest holes on my RML-3 rack because the upper hole of the bar holder's mounting bracket intersects with the lower horizontal members on the rack which are welded in place and won't allow me to pull a bolt through. It would be nice to have it at the lowest position on the rack because my garage gym ceiling is relatively low and I really need to be careful not to hit the bar with it when storing it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Make sure it is what you want and need Short story: they are what they are = bar holders. Yes, the bar must be inserted gently; and, yes, my labels where peeling off when they were delivered (in Arizona, in 110+ degree weather); but, I pressed the labels back on and they haven't been a problem since. Note: my gym is setup inside my air conditioned home, not my garage. Long story: I mixed oranges with apples. I bought two of the horizontal mount bar holders as part of a $5,000 ships for free order that included my RM-6 power rack. My total order was almost $5,000 to the dollar and was based on 30+ years of lifting experience in numerous gyms. I bought a full rack because I prefer a full rack to a 1/2 rack. But, a Nautilus 1/2 rack at one of those gyms had holders like these that were mounted vertically on the same column as the plate storage. They also had vertical bar holders in their Cross-Fit area. I am a big fan of everything having its place and tried to recreate that tidiness. But, I had issues. I foresaw that vertical bar holders would not work on the column with my weight plates because the cathedral ceiling at that point in the room was too low. So, I went with the horizontal mount - one for my Power Bar and one for my Deadlift Bar. I originally mounted them near my plates; but, later moved them out of that area so I could hop through that part of the rack when changing plates. When company is coming over, the bar holders are a good, secure place to store my bars nice and tidy. But, these bar holders are a lot easier to use with a 1/2 rack or in an open area than they are in the limited area of my home gym and the enclosure of a full power rack. I created my own single bar gun rack for my Power Bar ( using 8" bolts, flat washers, & short lengths of thick wall 1" ID PVC on one side of the Monster rack posts with lock washers, and nuts on the other) When I am done using my bar, I just press it overhead and rack it. My Power Bar never leaves the squat/bench area of my rack. And, my deadlift bar normally just stays in my deadlift area with my base warm-up plates on it when I am not using it for deadlifts or rows. (Rowing with a deadlift bar? Cheater, cheater. Hey, it is easier to grip and the bar's whip isn't much of a factor until the load is 400+#). I have considered buying 10 kg and 15 kg bars because there are times, like injury recovery, that a lighter bar would be useful. Then, Rogue's 3 bar gun rack for the Monster racks would make sense; I would love UHMW protection. But, I really want to walk upright underneath the racked bars so I wish that Rogue made single bar, or maybe two bar, gun racks for use with the Monster racks.
