Rogue’s new patented 12-Sided Urethane Grip Plates feature a solid cast-iron core, impact-resistant polyurethane coating, and a unique dodecagon shape with angled edges to help prevent rollaway when a barbell’s on the floor. A re-engineered ledge grip design (on the 25 LB and above) also introduces tapered, recessed handle cut-outs on both sides. This allows athletes to quickly grab and pick-up from the center of the plate—no matter which side is facing out— rather than having to reach their fingers under the plate’s edges when it’s flat on the ground.

Rogue’s 12-Sided Urethane Grip Plates combine a solid cast-iron core with a protective polyurethane coating for long-lasting durability and consistent performance. Available here in the smaller change plate increments—2.5LB, 5LB, and 10LB—these plates make it easy to add precise weight increases during strength training.
12-SIDED DESIGN
The patented 12-sided shape helps prevent plates from rolling when a barbell is on the floor. Angled edges create natural stopping points, making the plates easier to control when loading or unloading the bar.
The 2.5LB, 5LB, and 10LB plates provide a streamlined option for incremental loading. Unlike the larger plates in this series, these smaller increments do not include the ledge-grip handle cutouts, keeping the profile compact for tight barbell loading. A machined center hole ensures a secure fit on standard Olympic barbell sleeves, helping plates sit flush and minimizing movement during lifts.
URETHANE-COATED DURABILITY
Each plate features a cast iron core with a minimum 3MM urethane coating for impact resistance and long-term protection. The matte black finish with white Rogue branding delivers a clean look while maintaining excellent abrasion resistance compared to traditional rubber plates.
