The system, which includes a 43” long stringer, 0.375" thick laser-cut steel brackets, and a custom-finished 1.125" diameter bar, is on par with the equipment you’re already using at the local gym or in the garage. The pull-up bar itself is available in your choice of a knurled or smooth finish, and can be further custom selected in Rogue textured black powder coat, stainless steel, or any one of ten exclusive Cerakote color finishes—with Rogue logo branding in the center of the bar. The stringer and brackets are available in two powder coat finishes, as well (Medium Gloss Black or Textured Black), so it’s easy to customize the whole system to match your preferences and/or the existing color scheme of a room.
*Each order comes standard with a set of (6) 0.375" x 2.5" wood lags for mounting the stringer. If you plan to mount to something other than wood studs, we recommend contacting a general contractor to assist in planning an alternative install process.

CUSTOM CERAKOTE COLOR OPTIONS
The standard 1.125" diameter pull-up bar included with this system is uniquely customizable to match both your preferred look and feel. All bars are available in a smooth or knurled texture, and can be selected in standard textured black, stainless steel, or any of these Cerakote color coatings below (Cerakote is a versatile ceramic-composite coating originally popularized in the firearm industry for its remarkable durability even in thin applications).
Only the Cerakote bars include the Rogue logo in the center

KNURL OPTION
All finishes can be ordered in your choice of a Smooth (no knurl) or Knurled version. The knurled bar features a smooth center portion that’s 17.4" wide, with dual knurl marks on each end that match the spacing on standard Olympic and Powerlifting barbells. The knurl pattern is firm enough for a reliable added grip, but non-abrasive.

It's a simple, classic implement—built to a higher standard, and customizable to any room.

QUALITY ROGUE CONSTRUCTION
The Jammer Pull-Up Bar system is manufactured in the USA and utilizes 0.375" thick laser-cut steel brackets, 43" (Stringer) long (8.875” tall) with Rogue branding, and the same style of pull-up bar included in our Socket sets. After set-up, the bar extends out 7”, on center, from the mounting surface, while the brackets extend 8.25”. The stringer and brackets can be ordered in either of two available powder coat options:
- MG Black - For a cleaner, smoother look with medium gloss
- Signature Textured Black - For a more rugged, matte look

Perfect Design
This design works perfectly above a doorway. The installation was easy and it is extremely sturdy. If you don’t have room for a rig or large pull-up bar this is perfect. I also use it to anchor bands and TRX straps

Sturdy. Convenient.
Ordered the default black color to save $, although I really wanted a colored bar; but the black looks great.
I got a knurled bar even though I chose the smooth option. It doesn’t appear to be Rogue’s fault necessarily, as the box the bar came in does say “smooth.” Regardless, I have no problem with the knurled bar. Feels great.
I bought a stud finder to help with installation. The home is older, so studs seem to be in unusual places. After a bunch of trial and error looking for studs, I found them via the stud finder and pre-drilling small holes to ensure I was contacting wood.
I managed to install the bar entirely by myself. I wouldn’t really recommend doing it without one person to help hold it in place as you drill in the lag screws. The bar is quite heavy to be holding in place while trying to insert a screw, but I managed through hard headed-ness (literally).
Anyway, great addition to the house. Super upgrade over the pull-up bar we’ve been using which sits in the door frame and likes to pull the trim off the door frame.

Great but bad hardware
This thing is perfect for a pull up bar above the doorway. My only complaint is the button head screws for the bar. The bar wiggled a lot when grabbing the bar. Added a couple washers and now the bar is tight and doesn’t wiggle. Wish it came with an allen wrench. Other than that it’s nice!

Like a Brick House
Ok Rogue has always mad Heavy and solid built items, and the impression you get installing this is "is this thing going to rip my studs out of the wall when I hang on it?"
I'm happy to report that no, this fixture stays in place if installed correctly, and is stylish to boot.
I love the build quality, it's so much nicer than one of those cheap door frame bars.
Sidenote: the knurling is really nice, but I wish I had gotten smooth. You will get more calluses with this knurled pull-up bar than you get from barbell work.

Mounted this in my sons room (13 years old). He’s a wrestler and uses it every single day. I’m w 200 lb man and also use it. It’s solid as a rock!! Just like everything Rogue makes it’s a superior product.
