Spares for the gym
I purchased a 35lb change plate set mainly for the 5s and 2.5s for when I'm at the gym on days when those plates are hard to track down. It's super handy to just reach into my bag and pull out what I need on the fly. It would be nice to lug my 10s with me too, but that adds way too much additional weight to my gym bag. After the fact, I do wish that I had purchased the 37.5lb set instead, to be able to use the 1.25 plates on overhead press days when it gets harder to increase weight. It is not cost effective to buy those smallest change plates separately, so lesson learned.

Love the Rogue LB change plates
Ordered two sets of 2.5 lbs and one set of 5 lbs, now I can easily add 5, 10, 15 or 20 lbs at a time. I’d recommend getting those 3 pairs for versatility, if I need to add more than 20 lbs I just use the 10 lb bumper plates. I love them for what I was looking for, incremental weight change and easy adjustments.

Great gear
I bought two pair of 2.5 lbs and one pair of 5 lbs and I’m very happy. Can increase 5, 10, 15 or 20 lbs now, very easy to change out. I lift in a home gym with no spotter so these have added a lot of value and versatility to my routine. Also recovering from injury to the small incremental increases are helping me to build myself back up safely vs having to add two 10 lb bumper plates (20 lbs total) to lifts like I was before.

Perfect change plates
They have great feel, are durable and easy to rack and unrack with one hand. They also work great on the loadable dumbbells. 10/10 no notes.

If you're looking for something to stay pretty while sliding on a blk cereoke PowerBar, ~○~. They stay on nice after slamming them against the MilSpec v2 bumpers with the competition collars.

Crooked plates
The plates look nice and have a nice rubber coating, but the inner hole is not even. I.e., the diameter of the hole is bigger one one side of the plate then the other side because the hole was formed slanted. The result is that the plates don't hang flat on the bar. No matter how you spin the plate on the bar, it stays crooked. They look wonky. I put a picture next to a black plate I own that sits evenly so you can compare.

Thank you for posting your review of the Change Plates. These plates will sit flush when pushed all the way against the collar on the sleeves, or against other plates that are loaded on the sleeves.
They fit my Ohio bar but….
For $200 for the set is a little pricey considering they don’t have metal inserts to assist in sliding them on and off my Ohio bar. I would have bought the metal version if I had known this would be an issue. Love all of my other Rogue equipment but this set adds friction in an otherwise smooth workout.

These change plates have been a great addition to the gym. The rubber material these plates are made out of help the plates stay on the barbell sleeves (even without clips). I was holding out on purchasing these as I did not think I would need them, but after using them for a few workouts, I am glad I convinced myself to buy these plates. Highly recommend!
