CUSTOM CERAKOTE COLOR OPTIONS

This is our first pull-up bar available in exclusive Cerakote color finishes. Cerakote is used widely in the gun industry for its remarkable durability in thin applications, and it delivers superb abrasion/wear/corrosion resistance over time—100X that of standard black zinc. Match your bar to your existing rack, a team color scheme, etc.

A stainless steel version is available at a reduced price, and does NOT include the Rogue logo.

KNURL OPTION

Both the Cerakote and stainless steel Socket Pull-Up Bar can be ordered in your choice of a Smooth (no knurl) or Knurled version. The knurled bar features a smooth center portion that’s 17.4" wide, with dual knurl marks on each end that match the spacing on standard Olympic and Powerlifting barbells. The knurl pattern is firm enough for a reliable added grip, but non-abrasive.

QUALITY ROGUE CONSTRUCTION

The Monster Socket Pull-Up Bar is a single, solid round bar, precision machined in the USA with US steel using 7-gauge steel construction. It’s compatible with any 43" space on a Monster Series rack or rig, and is equipped with a pair of durable mounting sockets to insure its stability after installation. Two button-head screws lock the bar into the sockets to prevent spinning (a 7/32” allen wrench is required to tighten), and all needed hardware is provided and finished in Bright Zinc. The combined weight of the pull-up bar and sockets (excluding the hardware) is 16LB.

INTERCHANGEABILITY

Customers wishing to purchase multiple Socket Pull-Up Bars of different finishes can swap out one bar for another inside any compatible rack/rig. This allows multiple athletes to switch out bars with/without knurling, or to change colors if a certain team is coming in to train. The bar will need to be dis-assembled from the rack before making a swap.

The Socket Pull-Up Bar is part of growing arsenal of Rogue weight training equipment featuring new color finish options. You can customize your entire gym with a Cerakote Ohio Bar, Cerakote Bella Bar, or a Monster Lite Color Power Rack in a range of semi-gloss color finishes.

The bar and sockets are built well. I went with red, it is bright, but I’ll get used to it. I did ask one of the chat specialists if the knurling is similar to Ohio bar and was told yes. It is not close. This bar is much more aggressive than my bar and my socket curl pull up bar. Not sure how long it will take to get used the knurl. 235 lbs doesn’t feel too good to hang on it. Would recommend going the smooth route.

Don’t buy the knurled version
The knurled version is far to aggressive and if you mount it up at all Rogue will not exchange it. Very dissatisfied and will be going with a more reputable company for my next purchase. Think twice about buying from Rogue.

We're sorry to hear the knurled version was too aggressive for your use case. Our returns policy can accept items in new and unused condition with original packaging. We will have our team dig into this instance for you.

I was excited but it has been a let down
I was excited but it has been a let down 1. You have to buy sockets to put the bar in just to attach it to your rig. What a waste of money. 2. You must constantly check the bar to make sure hex bolts are tightened or bar will move while doing pull ups. It also loosened my whole rig opened and closed.. making a pounding noise till I found out it was loose. 3. Bar needs to be welded to sockets nice color but a waste of money. I buy from Rogue Soli and have spent tons of money with them. Customer service about this item was pretty much like oh well you bought it yours now

We're sorry to hear you aren't happy with the Socket Pull-Up bar. We designed this for customizable Cerakote options and barbell-style knurling that our standard pull up bars do not offer. We are having the team reach out to you to make sure you can get your button-head screws locked in.

Great product but needs bar-wide knurling
Just bought for our monster lite rig, and love the interchangability and bar diameter. But I wish the knurling extended across the full width of the bar. I can comfortably grip the knurling, but my wife can't without going to a super-wide grip.

Socket to me
Bar looks and functions great. I decided to try the knurled since I already have a smooth bar and couldn’t be happier. Bar had a blemish but Rogue’s excellent customer service took care of it A++++

I don't know what the others are talking about...
The knurling is totally fine. In fact, it's more than soft enough for decent grip over frequent use. I assume they must be doing that 'kipping' stuff. Knurling is most comparable to Rogue's multi-use bars.

Great bar! Take the smooth bar!
Got both knurled and smooth; hands down smooth is better in terms of comfort for frecuent use!! If you want extra grip just buy versa pro grip; its a must have for strong tight grip for maximum muscle isolation and contraction!! Knurled bar has a great grip but with frecuent use your bare hands will suffer. Must use glove to keep hands in good condition!

My hands are small
I bought this because the bar my rack came with was bigger than I prefer. Saw this was smaller and thought I’d give it a shot. Feels like a barbell I love it. Knurling is aggressive. Went with stainless. Lot of money for something I already had but details are important.
