The Westside Bench 2.0 w/ Fat Pad™
Westside Bench 2.0 Spotter Deck Set

Rogue Westside Bench 2.0

Available to order with either a 12" wide standard pad or 14.5" Thompson Fat Pad™, the fully updated Westside Bench is a heavy-duty juggernaut inspired by Westside Barbell’s original designs. This 1000+LB weight capacity bench is manufactured in Columbus, Ohio with US steel, from 2x3" 11-Gauge, and now features a double-reinforced 7-gauge steel spine running underneath the pad—delivering maximum back support and reduced flex in the pad itself.

Version 2.0 of the Westside Bench also introduces a new bolt-together design (with 0.625" hardware), meaning the full unit can be sent via parcel rather than freight, saving the customer considerably on shipping costs.

The unit comes standard with Infinity J-cups, a 24” removable pin/pipe safety set, and side panels with laser-cut Rogue branding. There is 1" on-center hole spacing up the front and back of the uprights to allow for maximum height adjustability, meaning the standard 17.5" bench height can be moved up and down by 1" increments to serve a wide variety of athletes. Customers also have the option of adding elevated spotter decks that bolt onto the bench, giving spotters extra leverage and traction in case of a missed lift.

Rogue Westside Bench 2.0 is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 28.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like a tank This bench feels like it could easily support 3,000+ lbs. My only complaint is that the holes aren't numbered. Makes it kind of a pain if you have multiple people using it at the same time. Other than that, I couldn't be happier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No Regrets! I debated with myself countless days and nights, trying to justify getting a new bench. I finally pulled the trigger a few months ago and boy was it the right decision! It's built to outlast me, my kids and their kids! Excellent quality, everything fits as it should. Can handle any weight I could ever possibly lift. No Regrets!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Built like a tank You just cannot go wrong with Rogue Fitness equipment. My local gym closed so I decided to build a home gym. I wanted a heavy duty bench press that could also be used for pin deadlifts and handle a dip bar. This bench is a tank...rock solid, well built, it holds the Matador Light dip bar perfectly on the outside pillar - no wobble, and you can do pin dead lifts. If you cannot handle the height of a full rack this bench is great. The band pins also work well for holding change plates.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than local gym benches The Westside Bench 2.0 is remarkably stable, and the hole spacing for j-hook adjustment is perfect. The only issue I had was assembly: initially the pad bolt holes did not align with the holes drilled in the steel mounts. It took a little messing around, but when it finally went together, the bench has been nothing short of awesome.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from An Amazing Bench, with one major flaw... This bench is really quite impressive in build quality, stability and is a dream to be a spotter on with the spotter decks. The pin adjustments and hole frequency make it a really phenomenal bench to do pin presses, isometric work, and a lot more on. I’d trust dropping a bar with my life on it too. It has one really fatal flaw though. Luckily it only applies to you if you do a lot of banded benching. The designated pin area is a few feet off the floor and doesn’t allow you to use many different regular band tensions. In other words, you’ll never get the bands setup properly when using full sized jump stretch bands. Even when you get creative, it’s still nearly impossible to get the bar path correct (it’s always pulling you forward or backward). I get it, you probably need the mini version of bands for this, but honestly, a proper band setup can cost you up to $400 and I don’t think it’s necessary or fair to ask someone to buy different bands just for this bench. It’s just a bad design, especially if you train conjugate and this is half the reason you purchased the bench (presuming it would handle banded setups well). Just to be overly clear and transparent: This all comes from me trying to make it work for almost a year. This isn’t a new gripe and a lack of someone willing to get creative. I have. In summary though: I would highly recommend this bench to anyone who doesn’t intend to use bands. It’s every bit of the quality you expect from Rogue, looks amazing and has great functionality in many way. If you’re buying it with the intention of using bands, I’d look elsewhere.
