The weight distribution is unique to this bar. Training with the Rogue Safety Squat bar is known to tax your anterior chain; the weight distribution falls between the front squat and the high-bar back squat to vary your power output training. This bar is a safer option for intense squat progressions or maximum load lifts.This bar is known to increase your maximum working weight when compared to the traditional back squat.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from As usual an aesthetically appealing product BUT I originally tried my first safety bar made by Elite FTS. Another great product. It’s not as aesthetically pleasing as the Rogue but it does the job and does it better than the Rogue. I’m definitely disappointed because is not something you can simply put in a box and ask for a refund. It’s 70lbs and lonnnnng. The big complain I have and every client I have that uses it is the pads and the distance between the handles. If you’re tall guy with broad shoulders this bar may work for you however for most (including myself) it sits very uncomfortable. The pads need to be bigger/softer and the handles bit need to be brought another inch each otherwise it sits right on your acromioclavicular joint.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Finally Squats again Been lifting for long time, but various shoulder injuries makes it difficult to do regular squats. My local gym purchased this bar and now back to adding back squats into regular training again. Works the legs a bit differently than regular back squats, feel legs getting even better workout. Will probably buy it for home gym too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more shoulder pain! Got this a couple months ago with the hope I could squat again pain free. It was very easy to get used to and there’s no shoulder pain while squatting. The bar is a beast very heavy duty and I feel like I’m hitting all the right muscles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Favorite Squat Variation, Hands Down I injured my shoulder awhile back and was having problems getting into position on the back squat. After deliberating for awhile I decided to pull the trigger on buying this bar and I’m so glad that I did. This bar was exactly what I needed to keep making progress while rehabbing my injury and to be honest it is now hands down my favorite squatting variation. It’s a bit of a different feel than a traditional back squat when coming out of the hole but in a good way. This squat variation will make your upper back and core work like crazy to keep good posture throughout the movement. The first time I used it I got an insane burn in my mid and lower traps trying to fight to stabilize against the weight which will try to fold you forward as you come out of the hole. And if you really want to exaggerate this you have the option of pulling down on the handles as you come up which I now often do and absolutely thrashes my core and upper back (again in a good way). Also this bar is not just great for squatting, I now use it almost exclusively for various accessory lifts like good mornings, lunges, split squats etc. Truly a great addition to any gym. One of the best investments I’ve made in long while. A++
