USA Cast Weight Vest Plates
Military-Style Design, Manufactured in America

Cast with a double-curved ergonomic shape, Rogue’s USA Cast Weight Vest Plates offer a level of comfort and freedom of movement not possible with most traditional flat metal vest plates. The design was inspired by examining the armor utilized in modern bulletproof vests—the same type trusted by police and military personnel for years.*

USA Cast Weight Vest Plates are sold in pairs and available here in three sizes (5.75LB, 8.75LB, 13.75LB), each measuring 11.25" in length and 9.25" in width. They are compatible with the 5.11 TacTec Plate Carrier, Condor Sentry Plate Carrier, and other similar weight vests on the market (be sure to check your vest’s measurements before purchasing). When added to a standard 2.5LB vest, the three plate size pairs create total weights of 14LB, 20LB, and 30LB, respectively.

*IMPORTANT : These plates are meant to be used strictly as a fitness accessory and should never be used as body armor.

  • 1Ergonomic Design

By casting the plates, we are able to create a custom, double-curved shape that significantly improves an athlete’s comfort when wearing a weighted vest. We looked at the armor / ballistic plates used in today’s advanced bulletproof vests as a key reference point. This custom ergonomic design helps keep the plate tight to the user’s chest while minimizing discomfort and enabling clearer breathing as you train.

  • 2Made in the USA

As a welcome alternative to cheaply made imported vest plates, our cast plates are exclusively designed and manufactured in America. The tooling for the plates is made in Northeast Ohio, and the plates are all cast in a Wisconsin foundry. A black powdercoat finish creates a firm grip and sharp look, and exclusive Rogue branding is cast directly into each mold, along with the weight measurement.

  • 3Three Size Options

Rogue USA Cast Weight Vest Plates are compatible with the 5.11 TacTec Plate Carrier, Condor Sentry Plate Carrier, and other similar weight vests on the market (be sure to check your vest’s measurements before purchasing). We’ve designed them in three weight options, each measuring 11.25" in length x 9.25" in width. The 5.75LB plate pair creates a total vest weight of 14LB (when added to a 2.5LB vest); the 8.75LB pair adds up to 20LB total; and the 13.75LB pair tops out at 30LB.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great design I have the Blue plates and found that I had to slightly change the fit inside my carrier. The only issue for me is that I am changing back and forth between the two sets as I need different weights for my workouts. The shape of these plates is much better than the old plates. The handles make it easy to carry. The curved body takes pressure off of my lower back during ab workout. Now I wish you had come up with these plates when I first bought the set. Can I trade in my blue plates and by the next size down at a discount?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really fits perfectly I have never been a huge fan of flat plates. Either I have them pressed to tight against my chest making it harder to breathe or the vest is too loose. These plate fit like a glove and forms against my body. Really helps with comfort and breathing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Built nice How do I strap them into the 511 tactec vest? Seems like it should be easy I'm making it very hard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Plates 8.75lbs Plates are well made. I don’t have a 5.11 vest but I do have a Crye and a shellback tactical . The plates are short height wise and I have to tighten the bottom to get them snug, a Good curve with the body and the weight is solid. overall it’s a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit I’ve had this for a month and use it in the Condor Sentry plate carrier. I haven’t use the old lazer cut plates but this one seems to be good. I like it. It shakes around in my carrier a little. Tightening the stomach strap minimizes that. I would like to see a product that stabilizes the weight in a carrier (like something to wrap around it) with maybe some padding on the top. I’ll go find something at Home Depot for now. Be cautious with handstand push-ups. The weight can hit you in the jaw pretty hard. These weights are well made and I would definitely recommend them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product I bought these for mainly pull-ups & chin-ups. Really helps me get a lot of reps when I do failure sets without the vest. Having the weight on your upper body instead of hanging from a belt is awesome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the money I’ve been using these in the 5.11 vest for a couple months and they’re great. They fit perfectly in the vest, contour to the body well, and make me look really tough running in my suburb. No guilt having a crispy boy after the workout and Rick can kiss my rear, not my fault Beth decides to check the mail while I’m running with my weight vest and asks me to invite him next time.
