A close cousin of the Rogue Bella Bar, version 2.0 of the Women’s Burgener & Rippetoe Barbell is fully machined and assembled in Columbus, OH—combining the original B&R bare steel design with an upgraded 190,000 PSI tensile strength shaft and quality snap ring construction. The 25MM, 15KG bar includes custom-tailored dual knurl marks for Olympic lifting and powerlifting (no center knurl), and bronze bushings for a reliable balance of rigidity and natural whip.
The B&R Bar’s trademark bare steel across the shaft and sleeves keeps the knurling in its original form, and creates a great, old-school look and feel that few finishes can match.

Please Note: Like any fine piece of machined steel, the bare steel on the B&R Bar will require some upkeep. Occasionally brushing the bar down with 3-in-1 oil or WD-40 will create a beautiful patina look. This is how bars were made for decades and it really does produce an unmatched feel.

This graph correlates the F Rating™ of a barbell with different types of usage in order to predict the durable lifespan. Using this data, we are able to make recommendations on what F Rating™ is appropriate for different training situations. With a rating of F6-R, the 25MM B&R Bar 2.0 is rated to last 12 years in a high volume CrossFit gym and will outlast a lifetime of lifting in an Olympic Weightlifting gym, a home gym or a Powerlifting gym.

TENSILE STRENGTH
Expressed in PSI, tensile strength measures the maximum weight a barbell can support before deforming. The 190K tensile strength falls within the optimal range of not bending under normal use, yet not been inflated to the point that it will shorten the life of the bar.
BARBELL KNURLING EXPLAINED
Our signature knurl, designed for multi-purpose use, provides a firm grip without being abrasive. This falls in the middle of the road on the knurl scale, striking a balance without being overly aggressive or passive.
