The T-2.5KG Technique Bar is made in the USA and includes a single needle bearing per sleeve—making it one of the highest quality children’s bars ever constructed.
A great item to pair with our Rogue KS-1 Kids Squat Stand, the 51” T-2.5KG Tech Bar features a 22.2mm diameter aluminum shaft with a loadable sleeve length of 4.125”. The maximum load capacity is 40 LBS, and the 1.96” sleeve diameter makes the bar fully compatible with most standard size bumper plates. We have also included three distinct sets of knurl marks to guide an athlete's transition from the tech bar to a standard oly bar:

The use of needle bearings gives this lightweight, mini tech bar a uniquely smooth, consistent spin—ideal for helping a kid develop good habits and form. Traditional children’s barbells have rarely if ever utilized this type of sleeve construction.

We have included three distinct sets of knurl marks to guide an athlete's transition from the tech bar to a standard Oly bar:
- Outer Knurl Marks: Match the standard knurl markings compliant with the International Weightlifting Federation.
- Second Knurl Marks: Match the standard knurl markings compliant with the International Powerlifting Federation.
- Inner Knurl Marks: Correspond to the clear space (non-knurled) found on an Olympic weightlifting bar.
ROGUE QUALITÄTSKONSTRUKTION
Each T-2.5KG Technique Bar is produced in Columbus, Ohio, and held to the same high standards as any full-size adult barbell in our fleet. The precision-built aluminum shaft measures 22.2mm in diameter and 51” in length, while the bearing sleeves have a loadable length of 4.125”. Our initial run of the T-2.5KG will be bare aluminum, but we’re also producing a line of these bars with anodized sleeves in a wide range of colors.

The F Scale™ is a durability scale for barbells based on functional testing at stresses similar to what barbells experience when being dropped from overhead. OXIDATION RATE
The resistance of a barbell to oxidation depends on the type of steel and the coating. Barbells at the lower end of the spectrum will require more care and maintenance to preserve their appearance than barbells at the upper end of the spectrum.
