Rogue FM-HR Twin Functional Trainer

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. Purchased on November 17 and delivered on December 12. I installed the FM-HR Twin Stack 90” in my garage, and I couldn’t be happier with it. If you want 100” there is Plenty of room with nine foot ceilings. I’m 6’1 and my wife is 5’4 and we booth have no issues with range of motion on the 90” trainer. The quality of every component is outstanding. The trolleys are incredibly smooth, and all of the accessories feel extremely durable and well-built. The knurling has a great feel in the hand—secure without being overly aggressive. The only minor flaw is the cables are slightly different lengths. The left side is tight and the right side is loose both of them are fully adjusted to offset this but still have a slight difference. I also purchased the multi-use rack roller with the trainer, and I’m very glad I did. My wife and I use it almost daily, and it significantly expands the range of exercises you can do. Overall, I absolutely love it and feel it’s well worth the price.

I received the FM-HR 90 inch twin functional trainer a few weeks ago in the gun metal grey and just like the other reviews, this is an absolute fantastic piece of equipment. 5 out of 5. And yes, overbuilt to say the least. The person who was going to help me put it together had something come up so I assembled this beast solo with some help from my wife. It took about 1.5 hours to get everything out of the boxes and arranged. Everything was absolutely perfect, I had to laugh to myself a few times on how obscene, in a good way, the built quality is, not sure if the engineers were told that it needs to hold up in case of a nuclear blast or what but it's a tank. Took about 12 hours total from start to finish. Now, I had a 94 inch ceiling to work with. Upon reviewing a couple other reviews I altered my assembly a bit. Once it was time to put the rear/center upright assembly the holds the seated row cable, I also installed both the right and left crossmembers and had no issues. other than me making a couple minor mistakes which I easily corrected it was relatively straightforward to assemble. I have it on the first floor of our house in our spare bedroom and was sure to put it up against a loadbearing exterior wall. I also went to a steel fabrication place and had 1/8 inch steel plates made to help distribute the weight of the machine. I've used this every day since I've assembled it and it's beyond words how much I enjoy it. I've been in the gym since I was 13 years old and was a competitive NPC bodybuilder for about 7 years, and 40 years later I'm still a gym rat, but I just hated making the drive every day across town with dumb traffic, etc, so I decided to make my own home gym and this is certainly the centerpiece. The cable system is just as smooth as any commercial piece I've ever used and it does not move, shake or wobble...AT ALL, when I'm using it. I'm so thankful because I genuinely look forward to my workouts again, and unlike at the gym I was a member at, I don't have to wait for a machine, I don't have to wipe the sweat off the pads from some dork who has no gym etiquette, nor do I have to endure watching these kids video themselves working out....when did that all start!...Anyways, I shopped around and did my research for at least two months before deciding to take the plunge on this, and it was well worth it. Best purchase I've ever made and would absolutely do it again, thanks Rogue.

After install, the FM-6 i purchased was too large for my space. A great assist from the Rogue team helped me get the right parts to convert it to a HR which fits so much better.

The quality is incredible. This rack fit seamlessly together and Rogue provided all the materials and even the tools necessary to put it together.

I spent a lot of time deciding which rack to buy. Foldable, half rack or full rack, with a functional trainer or not. I landed on a great compromise. Yes, it's very expensive, but the quality is top notch, and in the end I can do everything I want without having to sacrifice much space and without having to consider another large expense down the road. Excellent! I was also pleased with the assembly process. Rogue made it as nice and easy as it could possibly have been. My one recommendation would be to have more holes on the feets to give people more options to bolt it to the ground. You will want to assemble your rack first and then drill to make sure the holes are in the rick location. But it can be hard to fit the drill once the rack is assembled, and you'll have to disassemble some cross-members temporarily to do it. If you're unlucky you can hit rebar on your floor and be unable to use some of the holes. So more holes would provide more options.

The engineering and craftsmanship is unequaled. The pulley system is excellent --not like the cat strangler on top of a competitors trainer. I'm 74 and assembled this myself with the help of some painters tape [leaves no residue like duct tape] to hold bolts in place. I expected the best from Rogue and was not disappointed!
