Combining elements from our flagship 28.5MM Ohio Bar and the 2X AGGRO Power Bar, the Hybrid Power Bar features a 28.5MM shaft with the distinctive knurling of the 2X AGGRO Bar. The narrower shaft diameter makes the knurling more prominent, providing athletes with an improved grip on the bar and creating a superior lifting experience.
The thinner shaft also adds more flex to the bar than our 29mm Power Bars, allowing for slightly more movement in the shaft for heavy pulls while still maintaining enough stability for heavy benching and squatting.

The knurling is machined in a pattern that is very aggressive, featuring a deep, coarse pattern providing an ideal surface for heavy pulls without being abrasive. Additionally, it features a matching center knurl that adheres to your back when you need it most.

This graph correlates the F Rating™ of a barbell with different types of usage in order to predict the durable lifespan. Bars made for powerlifting have a more aggressive knurl, a center knurl, less whip, knurl markings specified by powerlifting federations, and sleeves with controlled spin. The Rogue Hybrid Power Bar incorporates all of these and is optimized for powerlifters or any other athletes who prioritize strength training as part of their program. The narrower 28.5MM shaft diameter makes the knurling more prominent, providing athletes with an improved grip on the bar and more flex than our 29MM Power Bars, allowing for slightly more movement in the shaft for heavy pulls while still maintaining enough stability for heavy benching and squatting.

With a 2X AGGRO knurl as developed for our AGGRO power bars, the aggressive knurl of the Rogue Hybrid Power Bar is created through advanced tooling and specially designed so that we can produce a precision, repeatable pattern that looks as good as it grips without feeling sharp in the hands or against the athlete’s shoulders. The bar includes standard Powerlifting knurl marks as well as a full 2X AGGRO center knurl.

The stainless steel shaft of the Hybrid Power Bar is 28.5MM in diameter, slightly thinner than a typical power bar. This creates an even better feel on the bar, as the 2X AGGRO knurl feels more prominent than it would on a 29MM shaft. The lack of any coating also gives the user the “true” grip we intended to produce. Chalk not required. With a tensile strength of 200,000 PSI, the bar reduces unwanted whip, even without the thicker shaft. As many gym owners know, stainless steel has few rivals when it comes to looks, grip, and corrosion resistance, and it is low maintenance compared to other finishes.

The Hybrid Power Bar is made to tighter tolerances, resulting in less axial and radial float of the sleeves and a smooth, controlled spin and solid feel when lifting. Each sleeve includes 16.4” of loadable length and our proprietary matte black finish, which converts the surface of the steel rather than coating it, greatly improving the sleeves’ corrosion resistance and long-term color endurance.
