Sold as singles or as a pair, MonkeyFeet work interchangeably on the left and right foot, and they are equipped to fit most shoe sizes. Each 1.2 LB attachment is constructed from high-end materials and incorporates ratchet technology borrowed from the action sports world, keeping the dumbbell secured below the heel for optimal comfort and freedom of motion. Summary of Reviews

The product has received mixed reviews. Many customers praise its versatility and effectiveness in targeting specific muscle groups, especially the hip flexors and hamstrings, during home workouts. Customers appreciate the convenience and portability of the product, as well as its ability to substitute for gym equipment. However, a significant number of customers have reported issues with the product's durability and quality, noting that the rubber and padding components wore out quickly and the ratchet mechanism and foot attachment were problematic. The consensus is that the product needs improvements in materials and design to enhance its reliability and user-friendliness.

I like it better than machines
I've had a tight hamstring on one side and a sore knee on the other for over a decade. Got these aa few weeks ago and increasing the reps them 3x week. They allow me to do both standing curls and sitting extensions. I like that it is on the foot and you need to stabilize your path and range.

Monkeyfeet is a great training tool!
I bought my first single Monkeyfeet(MF) early this spring after using it a fair bit and liking what it's enabled me to do, I ordered a second single MF a few minutes ago so I have a pair. what I like about it: 1. portable. can use it anywhere that has some hex dumbells. My MF also was compatible with my Olympic dumbbell handles. 2. gives me access to open chain, single joint, single limb/isolateral lower body training without downsides of machines(cost/resistance curve feeling off from limb length not matching up well with machine design/locked in to whatever gym has/machines are popular during peak hours so probability is high you'd be forced to have some form of a social interaction with another human to use the leg extension machine at 5:48pm in a commercial gym) 2A. can do single joint lower body isolation in different body positions that could possibly be more functional like using wall, squat rack, or TRX for support/balance combining hip flexion/knee extension/flexion using MF and triple extension isometric of the stance leg(seems like potential good way to develop strength/control on the farther side of ROM). standing unilateral hip extension isometric with a hamstring curl(gold standard of biceps femoris isolation) 3. let's you target different "rays" within a plane of motion similar to a cable. 4. MF uses minimal storage space/floor space. if you have enough space to lay down and do a snow angel on the floor with another 1-2ft of clearance around you you probably have enough space to do just about anything you can do with MF. 5. if you're embarrassed by how horrifyingly embarrassingly pathetically weak you are, you can use monkeyfeet to train in the privacy of your home/garage gym/basement/bedroom. I'm sure there are many more strengths. These are most apparent to me off the top of my head laying on couch in my post dinner vegetative food coma mental state. Things I didn't like: 1. Doesn't work with every type of dumbbell(I'm apparently horrifyingly embarrassingly pathetically weak and I should not be lifting weights in public training facilities where I can be seen by other people due to how horrifyingly pathetically embarrassingly weak I am) and was unable to find any 5lb or lighter dumbbells around the house or at the gym with wide enough handles to be compatible with MF 2. initially I bought a single MF to see if I would like it. I found that I did like MF a lot and was irritated by having to take it off and put it on the other foot. For some movements it's just easier/more time efficient to have a pair with one on each foot at the same time.

Completely happy
I have replaced standard hamstring curls on a bench with the MonkeyFeet and am completely happy. I feel like my lower back is not under the same pressure and can feel the contraction well.

Hey hey they're the monkeys' feet
Fantastic features. You can switch dumbbells very quickly like ripping in and out of snowboard bindings. You aren't very mobile at the time, but because of the weight centering on the bottom of your midfoot/heel, you can utilize the center of gravity efficiently as the lower stability acts as a ballast when using dumbbells. Unlike other systems that can be cattywampus and end up tweaking or leaning against your ankle or foot on one side, these tend to act as a centering force under your foot which seems to be among the most stable designs from my experience. I can wear one on each foot and do sets on each side pretty readily holding onto something with my hands. So I think they're pretty an universal application. It would probably be better to have two binding straps distributing the weight more evenly than just one, but I'm sure that will come along soon enough.

Great Tool
Bought this to provide more movement options during my recovery from knee surgery. The ability to work hip flexors with weight and do weighted donkey kicks really aided in redo and overcoming asymmetries developed as a result of a long term injury. These are durable, simple, and cost effective. They have my highest recommendation.
