Our Monster Lite Stabilizer Kit is now available a la carte, offering gym owners a simple but effective way to reinforce any freestanding Rogue Monster Lite Power Rack, including the RML-3, RML-4, RML-6, and Froning RML-4100.
Note: The RML-3 must be bolted to the floor before use
We always recommend bolting a power rack to the ground for optimal stability. However, if that is not an option in your training space, adding this stabilizing back crossmember to the unit will ensure that the uprights are always properly spaced at the specified 43” distance, keeping the rack square, rigid, and sturdy through regular high-intensity use.
The kit comes with (1) 43” Monster Lite Crossmember, made from the same 3x3” 11-gauge steel as your existing ML rack, and finished in our signature texture black powdercoat. The endplate on the crossmember measures 8” tall x 3” wide and features mounting holes 6” on center. All required mounting hardware is included with the package and can be ordered with either a bright zinc or black zinc finish—in order to better match your rack’s current hardware.

Appears Well Made - Hardware is Missing
Appears well made but Rogue forgot to include about half the hardware. I can’t install the stabilizer. My Monster Lite rack is pretty shaky without it. Rogue has yet to reply to my inquiry about making this right. In reading reviews about other Rogue products, it appears this is a pretty common problem with Rogue - damaged products and shipping and quality control issues. And yet they keep raising their prices. Shameful and embarrassing.

Perfect stabilizer

Incredible Upgrade for RML-3 Racks
I bought these to add some stability to my Monster Lite Rack. They added way, way more stability than I expected.
Before I felt like the rack was too prone to movement, especially side to side when racking and reracking heavy. These stabilizers removed 100% of the side to side movement.
The thing is now truly a tank.

Good but improvement would make perfect.
I have a Monster Lite 24" rack and the stabilizer really tightens it up. Works great and good for adding bar holders. The only issue is the Rouge bench hits the bar and can't go back far enough for incline bench press inside the rack. A version like Rep's bolts behind rack and gives about 10" more depth.

Completely stabilizes the half rack
I have a converted half rack (from SML-2 squat rack) and this definitely stabilizes it from swaying. I had constant swaying issues from doing dips with the matador and this kit fixes the issues. I also like that this option allows you to buy the XML-43 crossmember single versus buying a pair.

A Must for a Half rack
Bought this for my monster lite half rack. I have a shrimp crawler on one side with a heavy bag and the matador on the other and this really stiffened up the rack.
