Rogue P-3 Pull-Up System

Manufactured in Ohio using the same 11-Gauge Steel as our full-scale rigs and racks, the versatile Rogue P-3 Pull-Up System is a single, compact unit designed for ceiling mounts (for a ceiling height of 8 to 9’6”) or wall mounts.* Once anchored securely to concrete or wood studs, the P-3 gives you the option of a bar position at either 14” or 22” from the wall/ceiling.

The complete P-3 Pull-Up System comes standard with a 52” Pull-Up Bar, and can serve as a dependable rings station, as well. If you want to expand the set-up for more athletes, you can daisy-chain additional brackets together by spacing them out 3-4 feet apart, then running a single 1” steel tube/1.25” OD pipe through all of the brackets (4 brackets, for example, would create a 12' pull-up bar). In most cases, this type of pipe can be purchased at your local hardware store.

*To allow for more space for kipping pull-ups, the larger P-4 Pull-Up System may work better for wall-mounting, as well as for ceiling-mounts in garage gyms with ceilings higher than 9’6”.

Recommended Setups:

  • Distance between brackets: Concrete – 36", Wood Studs – 32" or 48"
  • Height: 7' 6" - 8' on center of bar but this can be adjusted based on ceiling height or athlete height

All Rogue Pull-up Rig Assemblies are guaranteed against failure If properly installed!

Super Solid Pull-up stations
I bought 6 P-3 braces to create 4 pull-up stations for my Combatives gym, Modernize My Fight. Once I installed the braces I followed the instructions of the web site and went to a plumbing hardware store and bought two 98" 1"/1.25" OD die the actual bar. I got the ends threaded and bought en caps for added security. I needed to clean up the bar with turpentine and steel wool to get rid of the oils and remove the print from the bars. Once done slid them into the braces and tightened the screws. Looks great and super solid. No problem supporting this 290 pound trainer :)

3 years now.
It always annoys me when someone writes a review that starts out with, I've had this for a month... So: I've had the P-3 for 3 years. I put it up on the lathe and plaster walls of my 120-year-old house. I'm pretty confident it's in studs. I do hard-style pull-ups 3xWeek, 5 sets, 8-10 reps per set (depending on rest of workout). I weigh 165 lbs. The P-3 is rock solid.

Solid as a tank, great design
I bought this to do my home prep for a military PT test, and its great. Install was a 2 man job, but once it's in, it's IN there. Love it, great value and rugged as hell.

Great pull up bar
I’ve had the pull up bar for several months and am glad I made the purchase. Unless you are very handy, I would recommend having it installed by a professional. Very sturdy and secure once bolted into the studs. I’m 240 lbs and have no issues or safety concerns while performing pull ups. Another great American made product from rogue.

Great pull up bar
This thing is rock solid. I used 3/8" x 3 1/2" lag screws sunk into the dead center of the wall studs, with thin washers between the screw heads and the metal uprights. I put a 1/4" piece of wood, painted to match the wall, behind the wall mounts to protect the paint and the drywall. It was easy to tell when the fit was snug without being over tight. I drilled the top hole of the wall plate 87 7/8" off the floor which allows me (height 5'10.5") to just be able to reach the bar but still keep my feet off the floor while exercising. The studs, BTW, are 48" apart. I do pull ups facing away from the wall, in case I want to swing my legs up. There's plenty of room between the bar and the wall to allow for this. The paint finish on the bar and the bar diameter provide a nice secure feel. I'm very happy with this purchase.
