Rogue RML-690 Power Rack is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 29.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from High Quality! I own several gyms and am familiar with a lot of Power Racks on the market. This system is simply THE BEST! Very sturdy and love the customization features. This is the RML-690 I installed in my guest room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Greatest rack EVA We've had this rack for about a month now and we have nothing negative to say about it. Super easy to put together, very heavy duty, and fit just right. If I could do it over, I'd order something other than the pin holders. They work for now, but are kind of a pain if you are trying to save space in a garage gym. They come with so no harm no foul!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Does its job, but lacks basic features. I bought three of these racks about a month ago to replace some older no name brand ones, although I'm very impressed with the racks they lack detail to warrant the price. 1. They have no markings to line up the safety catch bar. Even my old no name ones had this. To make matters worse the middle, most used area, has holes every half inch so you can never hit the right holes without much work. This is a flaw which can be fixed at the factory with simple numbering. 2. The brand labeling is hit or miss. Some have rogue on the side for all three, others on two and others on three. Again simple fix at the factory. 3. The racks move way to much side to side. Besides the pull up bars there is no lateral support and even after bolting to ground and torquing bolts to max per instructions the racks move. Simple factory fix again overlooked. 4. The fat pullup bar is placed above another skinny bar so it's pretty useless. Again a simple factory fix. 5. Petty, but the rogue stickers fall off way to easy. In summation unless the racks get revisions they are not worth the price. I support US made rogue and the rack is heavy duty but it lacks basic features. The racks do the job but then again so do racks at 1/3 the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Rig! Purchased this rig to update our home gym; it's even better than expected. Very well built and robust. Chose not to bolt it to the concrete floor, and it's still unmoving and rigid. Arrived in perfect condition, with no flaws or missing parts. So pleased with Rogue quality that we ordered plates and other add-ons the next week. It's a great product. We had a few questions about the add-ons, and the Customer Service techs were very helpful. We did feel compelled to tip the UPS guy--this beast arrived in LOTS of heavy packages!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful Power Rack Let me start by saying that this is a beautiful rack and was pretty easy to put together. I had my 12 year old daughter hold things in place while I inserted bolts. The rack itself is incredible, and I love the blue color. I purchased the rack with a monolift, pull up bar (w/ Fat and skinny bars) and 43" safety straps. There were several issues with the rack when it arrived. Three of the holes in the rack had been cut but not removed from the rack. Happily, I was able to punch them out with a nail set and hammer. One of the solders at the base of the post was not completed (a couple of inches worth of solder were missing). And one of the monolifts had an ugly scratch and burr on it visible through the red paint (which means it was there prior to painting). Rogue Customer Service came through and gave me a bit of money back for the missing solder (I really only wanted to make sure it wouldn't affect the safety of the rack, so I appreciated the gesture) and replaced the monolift. I also had a couple of plates that were damaged in shipping. They were replaced by Rogue. All in all I was happy with the result but a bit surprised that quality control would let those three items pass inspection (the plates were a UPS issue and not a Rogue QC issue). I ordered the RML-690C with a custom height of 100" so that I could do presses inside the rack. I use the larger 43" section for squats and presses. I use the 24" section for bench press. I use the monolift for my bench press. The monolift (in my opinion) is too heavy and awkward to want to move around the rack between exercises. For my part, I made a couple of errors that hopefully you can avoid. Even though I ordered a safety strap with the 690C, I opted to also receive the pin-pipe safeties that come standard with the rack. Unfortunately, I needed a couple of extra inches of room in front of the power rack in order to take the safeties in and out. Because I didn't have the room, I thought I might reconfigure the rack in the room in order to accommodate the pin-pipes, but it would require disassembling the rack and moving it around. In the end, I never got around to it and decided that the safety straps worked well for my purposes. I called Rogue to arrange to send the pin-pipes back. Alas I did it 10 days after the 30-day return period expired. Shame on me. Now I have an unused pair of pin-pipes on the floor in my study to remind me of my mistake. For what it's worth, I dislike the Fat/Skinny double combo pull up bar and don't use it. However, once it was attached to the power rack, it became used and was not returnable according to Rogue. So basically it's still on the rack for no other reason that I paid for it, and it offers some added rigidity to the frame. BEWARE: When ordering additional items for the power rack I ran into problems with the hardware used to attach the 24" safety straps, additional plate storage posts and the single pull up bar I later ordered. There was no option for black hardware (i.e. the hardware that came with my RML-690C). Without seeing hardware options, I assumed that the hardware that would arrive would match my existing hardware. It didn't; it was chrome. I looked around the site to find the black hardware without success but after calling customer service I was able to get the chrome hardware swapped for black hardware (at an extra cost as well as additional shipping charges to return the chrome and get the black hardware sent to me). I was annoyed at myself and a bit annoyed at Rogue for not offering the option of black hardware under the selection options when ordering additional pieces for the RML-690C. Don't make my mistake. Call customer service when placing your order for additional stuff so that you can get the right hardware the first time around. I also ended up sending one order back that arrived without hardware. I later saw that the item stated it did not come with hardware (I have no idea why as it is useless without it). When I asked Rogue about purchasing hardware, I was told that they do not allow customers to just order hardware on its own (even though I had just received Rogue equipment that required hardware in order to be placed on the rack). That was the first time I was truly disappointed with Rogue Customer Service. The other stuff was annoying, but this policy struck me as being intentionally unhelpful. Anyway, I decided I'd had enough anyway and returned that order. Still can't understand why they wouldn't send me hardware if I was willing to pay for it and needed it in order to install equipment I had just ordered from Rogue. In fact, after spending approximately $5K on Rogue equipment in the preceding month to month and a half, I'd think they'd show some flexibility just to make me happy. That said, I love the RML-690C. After all the hardware annoyances with ordering additional pieces for the 690C, I confess that the bloom is off the Rogue rose. But the rack is solid and beautiful, and I'm happy with what I have. I think you will be too. And perhaps even more so, if you can avoid my blunders with subsequent orders.
