These collars are awesome. My home gym is comprised of Powertech (sorry Rogue) equipment, and their collars just won't stand up to the abuse these Rogue collars do. They hold tight and will not move. Powertech horns are also 1.9" in diameter and typical 2" collars are just too large and won't clamp down. So, if you are another Powertech equipment owner, these collars are the perfect replacement for the OEM collars. Thank you Rogue.

I jave read some of the reviews on these. If anyone says these don't fit their bar or are too hard to get closed shouldn't own them or be in a gym. These things are so strong and have taken a beating from the strongman training my family does and they are just as awesome as they were the first day I used them. They snap hard and tight like they should. Highly recommend getting some of these collars. You will not be disappointed. My entire gym is filled with them.

Don’t buy, they don’t fit any barbell. They are way to tight, the amount of force needed to clamp these is ridiculous.

Perfect fit on my farmer's carry bars and axle bar.

Just got these and tried them out immediately. They work perfectly on my farmer carry bars. Easy to put on and take off and the plates don't budge. As a bonus, red happens to be my favorite color and it really pops with the black lettering...

These collars are made well and are very sturdy, but I am honestly not sure how necessary they are. The difference between these and the Rogue HG 2.0 barbell is an eighth of an inch in width, and 2/25 of an inch on inside diameter with the Axle Collar being the smaller one. Apparently not recommended by Rogue, but they can be used on regular barbells but require a lot of force to latch closed. I find this is also the case for using these collars on the recommended bars such as the Axle Bar and LB-1. The force required is so great on these recommended bars that the collar's latch can and will smack or pinch your hand and hurt. The regular HG 2.0 collars work just as well and maybe even better than these Axle collars, just purely based on the lower forced needed to close them. Though I will say that the tightness does help in keeping plates straight and on the bar during exercises where the bar is dropped from overhead. However if you have the HG 2.0 or have the HG 2.0 in your cart, I'm not sure these are worth the extra $40 and taxes unless you like red.

Bought these last year and haven't been able to use them once. They don't fit any bar at either gym I go to. Wasted 40$ you're better off buying the classic spring clips.
